What if you gave yourself a few minutes to slow down and come back to your body? 🌿
As a little taste of Slow Somatics: Embodiment Practices for Self-Care, our facilitator has shared a breath practice you can try at home.
Take a moment to pause, tune into your body, and notice what shifts when you give yourself permission to slow down.
This is just one way to explore the practices we’ll share in Slow Somatics, a three-part series exploring breath, movement, and touch as pathways to embodied self-care.
✨ Want to try the practice? Visit the event page through the link in our bio to listen.
We’d love to have you join us.
Slow Somatics 🌿
A three-part series exploring breath, movement, and touch as pathways into greater presence, nourishment, and connection with yourself.
Together, we’ll slow down, get curious, and explore how different forms of breath, movement, and touch affect us, while discovering what genuinely feels supportive to our bodies.
Week 1: Breath
Explore breath as a source of grounding, presence, vitality, and ease.
Week 2: Movement
Explore movement as a way to awaken, release, regulate, express, and restore.
Week 3: Touch
Explore self-contact through different kinds of touch, pressure, hand positions, and sensory awareness.
You’ll be invited to move at your own pace, make choices for yourself, and listen to your body’s signals along the way. You may leave with a simple practice to bring into everyday life, or with a deeper, more intimate conversation with your body.
No prior somatic or movement experience is needed.
Online via Zoom.
Come curious. Come exactly as you are.
Leave with a deeper understanding of how to nourish yourself from within.
