Help us wish Laurie a happy birthday 🤍

We’re so grateful for the care, knowledge, and presence Laurie brings into this space every day.

She shows up for her clients with so much thoughtfulness and intention—creating a place where people can feel safe, supported, and truly heard.

Laurie, we’re so lucky to have you as part of Restorative Connections. We hope your day feels as meaningful and appreciated as the work you do.

Happy Birthday 🎉

Some of the most powerful healing begins when someone finally says, "Me too."

That's why we're honored to be a sponsor of the Spark to Heal Storytelling Symposium with Resilient Stories

This unique event brings community members together to share stories of resilience, healing, growth, and overcoming life's challenges. Through storytelling, connection, and vulnerability, attendees will have the opportunity to hear powerful personal experiences and be reminded that they are not alone.

At Restorative Connections, we believe healing happens in safe, authentic relationships. We also believe there is incredible power in being seen, heard, and understood by others who have walked through hard things.

We'll be there with a resource table and would love for you to stop by and say hello.

✨ Inspiring speakers
✨ Community connection
✨ Meaningful conversations
✨ Stories of hope, healing, and resilience

If you've been looking for a space to connect, reflect, and hear stories that remind you of the strength of the human spirit, this event may be for you.

Tickets are still available at the door.

We hope to see you there. 🤍

There’s no one way to show up during Pride.

For some, it’s celebration.
For others, it’s quiet reflection.
For many, it’s still figuring things out.

Wherever you are in your journey, you deserve to feel seen, respected, and supported.

At Restorative Connections, we’re committed to creating spaces that are identity-affirming, trauma-informed, and grounded in care.

You don’t have to navigate it alone.

We see you. We support you. We are here for you.

If you’ve been judging your progress by how you feel… this might shift that a little.

There are so many ways we’re taught to track our mood.

And while that can be helpful, it doesn’t always show you what’s actually happening underneath the surface.

Because growth doesn’t always feel good while it’s happening.

Sometimes it looks like showing up on a hard day.
Trying again when you’re tired.
Getting through something you didn’t think you could.

Those things count.
Even if your mood doesn’t reflect it.

This is where shifting the question can help.

Not just “How do I feel?”
But “What grew today?”

It doesn’t have to be big or obvious.

Just something small you can notice…
and come back to.

Over time, you may start to see your progress differently—
without the pressure of constant happiness.

What’s something that grew for you today?

Save this as something to track, or share it with someone who might need a different way to measure their progress 🤍

Sometimes your mind knows you’re safe… but your body still reacts like you’re not.

That’s often where EMDR can help.

We’re excited to share that Mikayla is now offering EMDR services at Restorative Connections 🤍

EMDR is a therapy approach that helps people process trauma, painful experiences, anxiety, and attachment wounds that can continue showing up in everyday life, relationships, and the nervous system long after something happened.

A lot of people come into therapy saying things like:

“I know this shouldn’t bother me anymore.”
“I thought I already worked through this.”
“Why does my body still react this way?”

EMDR helps create space for healing that goes deeper than just talking through it.

Mikayla brings a warm, grounded, and relational approach to this work—helping clients feel safe, supported, and connected throughout the process.

She works with teens and adults both in person and via telehealth on Mondays and Tuesdays.

If you’ve been curious about EMDR or wondering whether it might be supportive for you, we’d love to connect 🤍

We’re excited to welcome Heidi to our team 🤍

Heidi Whyte, LCSW will be joining Restorative Connections in June, and we’re really glad to be able to offer more support for those who have been waiting to get started.

She works with children, teens, adults, and families, and supports people through things like anxiety, depression, substance use, relationship challenges, parenting, and different life transitions.

Heidi’s approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and solution-focused. She meets people where they are, and works alongside them in a way that feels collaborative and supportive—not rushed or one-size-fits-all.

We know how much it matters to find the right fit in therapy.

And we’re really grateful to have Heidi as part of the team.

She’ll have openings starting in June.

If you’re in Montana and feel like this could be a good fit for you or your family, you’re welcome to reach out:
