Student Counseling Services is excited to announce an opportunity to serve as an AmeriCorps VISTA with our office!

As a VISTA, you’ll have the opportunity to build capacity for programs and initiatives that promote mental health awareness, increase access to resources, and strengthen support for students across campus. This is a unique chance to gain valuable professional experience while creating lasting impact within our university community.

This we want to celebrate, Kali Britton-Hathaway, as they complete their AmeriCorps term serving as a Mental Health Crisis Instructor with Student Counseling Services & the Employee Assistance & Counseling Center.

Through facilitating QPR and Mental Health First Aid trainings, Kali has helped equip our campus community with knowledge and confidence to support others in moments of crisis. Their dedication to su***de prevention, mental health promotion, and student & employee wellbeing has made a lasting impact on so many lives.
