Join our Snout & Feather Society to help us with our monthly feed and care costs. THAT’S IT!

Our therapeutic animals deserve the best and we remain determined to give them that. We need caring, giving individuals to join this cause and help us monthly by donating $25 to our farm.

Can’t donate? Share this post! The more people who know about our efforts and learn about what we do, the better! Ain’t no mountain high enough, to keep us from doing our grief/trauma work. 🥰

A Grief Story: Cotton 🦆
About a year ago, our adorable Cotton was surrendered to our care with her bonded mate, Cricket. They had been together for 6 years before we met them and we watched them have an incredible year.

Unfortunately, Cricket decided he was ready for bigger adventures and disappeared from the farm. And Cotton… was heartbroken. She would cry for him and wait for him all day, expressing her grief at missing her partner. We cried with her.

Then, one morning, we found that she had opened her gate pen for other birds at our farm to join her. 🥹 She’s become a helper to our chicken babies and has been so brave to open her heart and try new things. Her journey through grief continues and we will support her along the way, no matter what.

For now, she will be our hero. Reminding us that healing is possible after grief and trauma, we just have to open our gates to let it out - and let others in. 🩷

🌻 Sometimes the best healing days are quiet and unexpected. Putting in some hard work, reaping the benefits, and being rewarded by the most glorious hug between those we love. Look out for these moments, they come and go quickly so we must catch them when we can.

✅ WHAT WE NEED WEDNESDAY!
Yes, we are aware that it is in fact not Wednesday, but round these parts we work on farm time. 🤠 And ya’ll, it’s gettin’ hot round here!

We have lots of people reach out and inquire about items for the animals, asking what they need and wanting to help out. To make that easier, we will be sharing a few items each week that are needed at the farm and if anything fits your budget, let us know and you would be helping us out immensely!

Items for this week:
