Dysport® (abobotulinumtoxinA) is a prescription injection for temporary improvement in the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines) in adults less than 65 years of age. The most common side effects include nose and throat irritation, injection site pain, upper respiratory infection, blood in urine, headache, injection site reaction, eyelid swelling, eyelid drooping, sinus infection, and nausea.

It comes from understanding the patient’s anatomy, identifying what is actually creating the concern, and choosing an approach that makes sense for that individual.

That means considering more than just what procedure to perform. Dr. Ezzat also considers how to approach it, which techniques are appropriate, and in select cases, whether the procedure can be performed in-office under local anesthesia.

A nose that looks dramatically narrow, refined, or even “perfect” immediately after surgery still has a long healing process ahead of it. As swelling resolves and the tissues settle, the nose can continue to change and refine for months and even years.

Why does Dr. Ezzat still want to see rhinoplasty patients two years later? 👃⏳

Because rhinoplasty results aren’t defined by what the nose looks like at six weeks or even six months.

The nose can take a full year to heal, and changes can continue for up to two years. That long-term follow-up matters not only for the patient, but for the surgeon too. Following results over time allows Dr. Ezzat to evaluate how his surgical techniques actually hold up as swelling resolves and the nose fully settles.

It’s also why the rhinoplasty results featured on Dr. Ezzat’s website follow specific timelines:

🔹 Primary rhinoplasty results are at least 1 year post-op
🔹 Revision rhinoplasty results are at least 18 months post-op
