Meet Sofia, a Shriners Children's Boston patient and burn survivor who is an example of courage and resilience. At just 4 years old, Sofia survived a life-threatening accident and severe burns that nearly led to amputation of her legs.

Today, she’s a thriving 16-year-old who is proud to share an important reminder for other young burn survivors: "Celebrate every step, no matter how small, because that is important progress in your full recovery.” ❤️

Shriners Children's Boston Patient Ambassador Noah experienced a day he and his family will never forget, as he represented our hospital at the Maine Shrine Lobster Bowl Classic. 🏈🦞

Noah is a dedicated multi-sport athlete who is pursuing his passion for athletics after being treated at Shriners Children's for serious burn injuries while losing his balance near a fire pit.

Surrounded by players, families and supporters at the event, Noah embraced every moment of the special day alongside his loved ones. ❤️
