The Powder River Post 13 of the American Legion helps veterans in the community in many ways. The family consists of the American Legion, the American Legion Auxiliary, the Legacy Riders, and the Sons of the Legion. Meeting times
American Legion: 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7:00pm
American Legion Auxiliary: 2nd Tuesday of the month
Legacy Riders: 1st Wednesday at 7:00
Sons of the Legion: Not scheduled

We had the privilege to honor Nels Lofgren on Saturday June 30th. He was one of our own, we was Commander of Post 13 for awhile and the State Commander for awhile. We had a few State Officers come and attend as well. We paid our respects with a final salute.
