We kicked off Assisted Living Week with a BANG!

On Monday, we dressed in classic black and white inspired by the 1950s, and the staff were treated to a visit from Tom’s Coffee Truck as a thank you for all of their hard work and dedication. 🖤🤍

Tuesday brought us into the groovy 1960s with classic candy, old-fashioned soda, and plenty of colorful tie-dye! It was so much fun hearing residents reminisce about their lives during these decades and share stories from years gone by. 🌈☮️

Be sure to watch for the tie-dye bandanas in the photos! These weren’t store-bought. Our incredibly talented residents hand-dyed every one of them in preparation for today’s celebration. We love seeing their creativity and personality come out in these handmade pieces.

We are already having an absolute blast, and we’re just getting started! Stay tuned to see what decade comes next as we continue celebrating our incredible residents and the team throughout Assisted Living Week! 🎉

Today, we celebrate the incredible grandparents who enrich our lives in so many ways. We are truly blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful individuals and to benefit from their wisdom, kindness, and life experiences.

One of the greatest joys is listening to their stories, hearing about the people they have loved, the challenges they have overcome, and the memories they have made throughout the years. Their experiences help us learn about the past and better appreciate the journeys that shaped them into the amazing people they are today.

Thank you to all grandparents for the love, guidance, patience, and joy you bring to your families and communities. Your lessons, laughter, and legacy continue to make a lasting impact on generations to come.

Today, on September 11th, we took a scenic drive through the beautiful countryside and were reminded just how fortunate we are to live in such a wonderful country. The rolling fields, open skies, and peaceful views filled us with gratitude and appreciation for the blessings that surround us each day.

While we enjoyed the beauty of our community and country, we also took time to reflect on the significance of this day. We remember the tragedy of September 11, 2001, and honor the lives that were lost. Our hearts remain with the families, friends, and loved ones who continue to carry the weight of that loss, as well as those whose lives were forever changed by that day.

As we reflect, we are reminded of the strength, resilience, and unity that emerged in the face of unimaginable hardship. Today, we honor those we lost, support those who continue to grieve, and remain grateful for the freedoms and opportunities we share as a nation.

What an incredible day at our Red Cross Blood Drive!

Thanks to the amazing support of our community, we had more donors show up than expected and were able to collect 26 pints of blood for those in need. Every donation has the potential to make a life-saving difference, and we are so grateful to everyone who took the time to give.

We love being able to support our community in such a meaningful and much-needed way. Thank you to all of our donors, volunteers, and the Red Cross team for helping make this event such a huge success!

We aren’t afraid to get our hands dirty to bring a little joy and color into our community! Today, we had a wonderful time planting these gorgeous mums as we gear up for the fall season.

While our hands may have been covered in dirt, our smiles stretched from ear to ear! We can’t wait to watch these beautiful blooms flourish and add a splash of autumn color for everyone to enjoy.

🌻 September is for Sunflowers! 🌻

Our talented residents, with the help of some amazing volunteers, created beautiful sunflowers today! These cheerful creations are the perfect way to start decorating for the fall season and bring a little extra sunshine indoors.

We are so thankful for our wonderful volunteers and the creativity of our residents. The smiles, laughter, and teamwork made for a fantastic day!
