Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible across our area today and tonight, with the potential for damaging winds, large hail, and a few tornadoes.

🌩️ Stay prepared, not scared.
📱 Have multiple ways to receive warnings.
🏠 Know where you'll take shelter if a warning is issued.

Reminder: Mercer County does not have public tornado shelters. The safest place is a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Call ahead to churches, public places, & friends/family ahead of time so you are prepared and know where to go.

We'll continue to monitor conditions and provide updates as needed.
