Some moments stay with you forever.
Recently, our Hospital Clinical Liaison, Michele, RN, had the incredible privilege of accompanying her father, a Vietnam Veteran and U.S. Marine, on the 250th Honor Flight. Watching him and so many other veterans receive the recognition they so richly deserve was an experience she will never forget.
The day was filled with gratitude, reflection, and the honoring of lives spent serving our country. It served as a powerful reminder that every veteran has a story worth remembering and a legacy worth celebrating.
As a hospice and palliative care organization, honoring those legacies is at the heart of what we do. That’s why we are proud to help raise awareness about Honor Flight, a program that provides veterans the opportunity to visit the memorials dedicated to their service at no cost to them.
For many veterans, these trips create meaningful memories, foster connection, and provide a sense of closure and recognition. It is a beautiful extension of the work we do every day: caring for people, preserving their stories, and honoring a life well lived.
If you know a veteran who may be eligible, we encourage you to learn more about this incredible opportunity and help us spread the word.
To all who have served, thank you for your sacrifice, your courage, and your legacy.❤️
