Both just completed our training program and are ready to bring warmth, patience, and genuine care to the seniors and families we serve. We couldn't be more excited to have them on the team.

Had such a great time Friday at Common Pantry15th I Am Your Neighbor Party! Visiting Angels Chicago North is proud to be a sponsor of The Common Pantry, and I got to join the poker tournament too. After a few bad beats and some incredible luck, I won first place and a trip to Las Vegas!!

Common Pantry has been feeding North Side neighbors since 1967, and one program we care about a lot is their monthly grocery delivery for seniors who can't easily get out of the house. Our caregivers are in older adults' homes every day, so we know how much that kind of support matters.

Thank you to the Common Pantry team and all the volunteers for such a fun night for a great cause.

Proud to have been out with the Visiting Angels Chicago North team for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s this weekend.

It was a beautiful blue sky day in Chicago and great to see so many people from across our community come together to support the fight against Alzheimer’s and to honor the families and individuals whose lives have been touched by this disease.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our Visiting Angels table and to everyone who came out to support such an important cause.

We can't wait for next year to have a bigger team and bigger fundraising goal!!!!

Trust is at the heart of home care. And sometimes, building it means putting yourself in the hands of your team! 💙

Congratulations to Enengy and Celeste on completing their Visiting Angels foundational training and Hoyer lift training!

We had some fun along the way, but this practice has an important purpose. For someone who fears falling, being helped from a bed to a chair can feel overwhelming. Taking our time, explaining each step, and helping them feel secure matters just as much as knowing how to use the equipment. It takes trust to let someone help you.

I had the opportunity to share a little about Visiting Angels Chicago North, how home care can support older adults and their families, and some of the resources available in our community.

I was also so glad to have Mary Grace from the Alzheimer’s Association join us for a presentation on understanding dementia and supporting those living with memory loss.

A special thank you to Anne Marie and the St. Ben’s Women’s Club for the warm welcome and for bringing together such a wonderful group. I’m grateful for the opportunity to connect, share resources, and be part of the North Center community.
