That is the genius idea behind Respitely — a CareGifting platform founded by Laura Williams. She came by this week, brought lunch for our team, and sat down to hear about the work our caregivers do every day.

What excites me is what it means for the families we serve. More ways to access care. Fewer barriers to getting it in place. Support that reaches people earlier, before things get harder than they need to be.

Congrats and welcome to our newest Angels, Charlotte and Larissa! We wrapped up our June orientation class today with our guest trainer Angelo, who provided hands-on training to ensure proper safety measures are used when transferring our clients.

Great day at the Northcenter Senior Center and St. Vincent House. I had the opportunity to present on Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) to a wonderful group of residents. We discussed many of the current mental health challenges seniors face and worked together to develop practical “first aid toolkits” with strategies and resources to use when those challenges arise.

And of course, we wrapped up the afternoon with delicious apple and cherry strudel from Lutz Cafe and Bakery on Montrose!
