A winning recipe for giving back! Walden Place took home Best Professional Dessert at a local YWCA event benefiting Domestic Violence Awareness. Our team impressed with Vanilla Cream Puffs topped with Raspberry Compote, earning recognition for their delicious creation while supporting a meaningful cause.

The fifth and sixth pillars of Senior Lifestyle’s Brain Health University (BHU) are mental stimulation and social interaction. Staying curious, learning new things and maintaining meaningful connections can all play an important role in supporting brain health.

Social connection can provide support, reduce stress, encourage healthy behaviors and create opportunities for continued learning and intellectual stimulation. And because the six pillars of brain health work together, being active might mean joining a walking group, learning something new might happen in a class, and a creative activity might lead to a new friendship.

That’s one of the benefits of community living. From fitness groups and clubs to classes, creative programs and everyday opportunities to connect, residents can engage their minds while building meaningful relationships with those around them.

This accomplishment is especially meaningful as we celebrate 10 years of Embrace, our award-winning memory care program. A decade dedicated to supporting seniors and their families makes this milestone even more special.

As Krystyna shared:

"To me, this race was a reminder of not just why we run, but why we serve our seniors every day. As hard as some of those miles felt, we got to prepare to run this hard race. Families facing an Alzheimer's diagnosis rarely get that luxury. This was for them, for their families, for our teams, and for those working to find a cure to end Alzheimer's one day."

Walking together for a cause close to our hearts.

Our Clover Health Care community was proud to participate in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, supporting an important cause that touches so many lives.

This year’s participation was especially meaningful after one of our residents asked a team member if they could take part in the walk. Of course, our wonderful and caring team was happy to show up and support the cause!

It was a beautiful reminder of the compassion, connection, and community that make Clover Health care so special. We are grateful to everyone who walked, supported, and helped make this day meaningful.
