September gave Midwest Express Clinic another month full of opportunities to connect with the communities we’re proud to serve. 💙❤️

From cultural celebrations and community festivals to wellness events and local traditions, we loved getting into our neighborhoods and connecting with the people who call them home.

Here’s a look back at our September events:

👟 Naperville Trails Half Marathon

Midwest Express Clinic joined runners and supporters for a day celebrating fitness, wellness, and community spirit. We loved connecting with attendees and supporting an event that encourages active, healthy lifestyles.

🇵🇱 Taste of Polonia Polish Festival

We spent Labor Day weekend celebrating Polish culture and heritage through food, music, dance, and community. It was a great opportunity to connect with familiar faces and new neighbors throughout one of Chicago’s favorite cultural traditions.

🎡 Winfield Good Old Days Festival

We joined the Winfield community for a weekend of family-friendly fun, local vendors, entertainment, and hometown spirit. We especially enjoyed connecting with families near our Carol Stream clinic and hearing from those who have visited Midwest Express Clinic before.

🎨 Lakeview East Festival of the Arts

As a proud sponsor, Midwest Express Clinic joined the Lakeview East community for a weekend celebrating art, music, creativity, and local culture. We loved meeting attendees while supporting an event that brings the neighborhood together.

🌿 Batavia Riverwalk

We spent time along the Batavia Riverwalk connecting with community members and enjoying a day centered around the outdoors, local activities, and neighborhood connection.

🥣😣 That first swallow with a sore throat can feel brutal.

A sore throat isn't always "just a sore throat." It can be caused by viruses, strep throat, allergies, dry air, smoking, or even too much yelling.

💧 Stay hydrated, get plenty of rest, and try warm salt water gargles for mild symptoms. If your sore throat lasts more than 48 hours, you have trouble swallowing or breathing, or you develop a fever over 101°F, it's time to get checked.
