☀️ One Full Week of Summer Fun in the Books! ☀️

Our first full week of our summer schedule is officially complete, and we couldn’t be more excited about how things are going!

Our new Social Savvy Summer Program is off to a great start. Learners are adjusting well to the new structure, building confidence, and most importantly—forming new friendships along the way. 🩵🧡

Our Day Program learners have also done an amazing job welcoming some new “Big Kidz” into our daytime programming. Seeing our learners support one another and build connections has been one of the highlights of the week.

We also want to extend a huge thank you to our families for your flexibility, patience, and support as we worked through summer schedule adjustments. Your partnership makes all the difference!

This week, our learners focused on:
⭐ Classroom expectations
⭐ Greeting peers and adults
⭐ Attending and participating in small-group activities
⭐ Building social connections and friendships
⭐ Practicing flexibility within new routines

We are so proud of the progress we’ve already seen and can’t wait for all the growth, learning, and fun that this summer will bring!

I am incredibly humbled to share that Mighty Kidz Services LLC. has been nominated for Best of – Woman-Owned Business SC 2026.

When I started Mighty Kidz Services, I wasn’t building a company, I was building a vision. A vision where kidz and families could receive compassionate, trauma-informed, evidence-based care while feeling truly seen, heard, and valued!

Over the last (almost) 3 years, that vision has grown into an incredible team serving families across South Carolina and North Carolina. What began with one BCBAs dreams on paper has become a community of passionate professionals dedicated to changing lives & making a mighty impact every day!

🚀🩵First Day of Social Saavy is in the books! 🧡☀️

Yesterday, our learners kicked off summer by building connections, practicing social skills, playing games, and having fun together!

We saw teamwork, laughter, problem-solving, and some great peer interactions throughout the day. Most importantly, we saw kidz stepping outside their comfort zones and building confidence in a supportive environment!

We’re excited to watch friendships grow and see what the rest of the summer brings!

This last week of May has been even more celebrations & transitions in our Columbia Clinic.

We said goodbye to Stephanie, one of our incredible BCBAs, as she begins a new chapter focused on motherhood. While we are sad to see her go, we want to take a moment to celebrate the impact she has made at Mighty Kidz Services.

Stephanie has been a compassionate BCBA, a dedicated advocate for her kidz and families, and a clinician who consistently led with kindness, empathy, and heart. Throughout her time with MKS, she helped children achieve meaningful goals, supported families through both challenges and celebrations, and built genuine connections that will not be forgotten.

In addition to her clinical work, Stephanie played an important role in mentoring future clinicians. Through telehealth services and hands-on shadowing opportunities, she welcomed student analysts into her sessions, allowing them to learn, grow, and gain valuable experience on their journey toward becoming BCBAs. Her willingness to teach, encourage, and share her knowledge has left a lasting impact on our team and the future of our field.

Stephanie, thank you for growing with us, creating memories, and being part of our Mighty journey. While we will miss seeing your smile around the clinic, we are excited for this next season of life and all the beautiful moments ahead for you and your family.

Please join us in wishing Stephanie all of the HRE moments ahead as she embraces motherhood full-time.

📢 BIG NEWS FOR SOUTH CAROLINA FAMILIES! 📢

A major step forward for children and families has arrived.

South Carolina’s H.3974 has officially passed, creating a clearer pathway for private ABA providers to deliver medically necessary autism services within public schools.

What does this mean for families?

✅ Increased access to ABA therapy during the school day
✅ Greater parent choice and involvement in services
✅ Stronger collaboration between schools, providers, and families
✅ More opportunities for children to receive support in their natural learning environment

If your child may benefit from individualized ABA therapy in their school setting for Fall 2026, now is the time to begin planning. Early coordination helps ensure services, authorizations, and school collaboration are in place for a successful start to the school year.

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country.

Their courage, dedication, and selflessness have protected the freedoms we enjoy every day. We are deeply grateful to the military families who carry the legacy of these heroes and to those who continue to serve our nation.

As we spend time with family, friends, and our community today, we remember that Memorial Day is more than a holiday, it is a day of reflection, gratitude, and remembrance.
