Wexner Heritage Village is a diverse and comprehensive community with a continuum of care -- the only Jewish faith-based housing community for older adults in central Ohio that serves all. Wexner Heritage Village enriches the lives of the individuals and families it serves by providing quality health, housing, spiritual, and supportive services which meet the needs of an aging society. Yesterday, we were honored to welcome the Wexner Service Corps as they kicked off a new year of community service and learning.

Led by Rabbi Sharon Skolnik, 30 dedicated teens spent their orientation day on our campus, connecting with residents, learning about our mission, and making a meaningful impact through service and volunteering with our residents.

We are grateful that Wexner Heritage Village continues to be a place where young leaders begin their journey of giving back.

🌺🚲🐾 Events across campus this week at Wexner Heritage Village

Our Heritage House residents enjoyed a festive Hawaiian Luau and a ride with our friends from Cycling Without Age, while our amazing Senior Sparks volunteers gave back at the Humane Society.

📸 Take a look at some of the special moments from the past two weeks across Wexner Heritage Village!

Residents at Creekside, The Cottage, and Heritage House enjoyed visits from therapy dogs, a lively performance by the Heartstrings Ukulele Group, a grief support group led by Chaplain Yi, and a poetry reading by volunteer Rose. We also spent time creating some beautiful artwork together.

Thank you to our volunteers, community partners, and staff who help make every day meaningful!

Thank You for Making Our Mahj-a-Thon a Success! 🀄💚

What a fun morning! Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Mahj-a-Thon and helped make the event such a wonderful success.

Thanks to your support, funds raised through the event will help support Wisdom & Wonder, our new Intergenerational Reading Program at Creekside, launching this October.

Wexner Heritage Village is seeking caring volunteers to help with our Art Cart Program at Heritage House and Book Cart Program at Creekside. Volunteers visit residents, offering books to enjoy and artwork to brighten their rooms, creating moments of comfort, conversation, and connection.

Whether you can give an hour once a week, once a month, or whenever your schedule allows, your time can have a lasting impact. A simple visit, friendly conversation, or helping a resident choose a new book or piece of art can bring joy and brighten their day.

Join us in bringing comfort, creativity, and companionship to the seniors we serve.

What a fun week at the Cottage Community! ❤️

Residents enjoyed singing along to Jewish songs with our friends from Camp Yeladim, taking scenic rides with Cycling Without Age, and getting moving with an energetic dance class led by Dr. Dance.
