We were delighted to welcome the Columbus Pops Band to our patio for a wonderful afternoon of music! 🎶☀️

Residents had a fantastic time enjoying the performance, singing along, and soaking up the beautiful weather. We even had a few special audience members watching the concert from high above!

A couple of months ago, residents at The Coventry and local 2nd graders from St Agatha Church, Upper Arlington, Ohio's Catholic School began something truly special — a Pen Pal Program built on connection, conversation, and friendship.

Today, everyone finally got to meet their pen pal in person! Residents and students shared ice cream, read books together, exchanged stories, and even played a lively game of “Would You Rather” as they continued building meaningful intergenerational connections.

The smiles, laughter, and genuine bonds formed today were a beautiful reminder that friendship has no age limit. ✨

The presentation covered common scams targeting older adults, warning signs to watch for, and practical tips to help residents protect themselves and their personal information. Educational handouts and resources were also provided so residents could continue learning and stay informed.

We were delighted to welcome Girl Scout Troop 6870, made up of girls from several local elementary schools. Their visit brought so much joy to our community!

They shared homemade cards, played games with residents, made friendship bracelets, and even went door to door visiting with snacks in hand. It was a wonderful afternoon filled with smiles.

Our Mother’s Day Tea at The Coventry was truly something special 💐

Residents and families enjoyed a lovely afternoon filled with beautiful piano music by Paul Weiss, a delightful assortment of tea sandwiches, and heartfelt mother-themed poetry that made the day even more meaningful.

One of the highlights was celebrating our incredible mothers with a fun and touching recognition. Two residents tied with an amazing 32 great-grandchildren each! The tiebreaker? A remarkable resident who has been a mother for 74 years—what an inspiring legacy of love.

We had the most wonderful afternoon celebrating the incredible mothers in our community with a special Mother’s Day Flower Bar! The room was filled with the sweet scent of fresh blooms and plenty of smiles as we spent the day creating beautiful, custom bouquets.

A huge thank you to several of our committed healthcare providers for sponsoring such a stunning variety of flowers for our residents to enjoy. It was heart-warming to see so many daughters and granddaughters stop by to join in on the experience—it was a perfect opportunity for some special multi-generational bonding!

Of course, no celebration is complete without some treats! Our talented culinary team got into the spirit with flower-themed charcuterie boards (that were almost too pretty to eat) and a variety of delicious festive snacks.

It was a beautiful day dedicated to the women who inspire us every day. Thank you to everyone who made this floral celebration so special!
