Did you know that you don't have to live at First Community Village to receive rehabilitation services? This week, we're excited to introduce the incredible therapy team that helps make our rehab program so special!

Our therapy team is made up of compassionate professionals dedicated to helping every patient reach their goals while treating each individual with dignity, respect, encouragement, and, of course, a little humor along the way! 😊

Whether it's helping someone regain strength, improve mobility, safely return home, or find their voice, our team brings experience, compassion, and a genuine commitment to every patient they serve.

When a loved one has been in the hospital and needs rehabilitation before returning home, you may have more options than you realize.

At First Community Village, our rehabilitation and healthcare team helps individuals work toward regaining strength, improving mobility, and rebuilding confidence after a hospital stay.

Our goal? To help people get back to doing the things they love.

🎨 Celebrating Art, Community & Incredible Women Artists! 🖼️

Our annual art show at First Community Village, “Through Her Eyes: Contemporary Expressions by Women Artists,” was a wonderful success!

We were surrounded by so many talented artists and inspired by the creativity, beauty, and unique perspectives showcased in each piece. It was especially wonderful to see so many of our residents attend and enjoy this special celebration of art.

A heartfelt thank-you to Suzan Nocella from the First Community Foundation for making this beautiful event possible! Your support helped bring together our residents, artists, and community for such a memorable afternoon.

We also extend our appreciation to our amazing culinary team for preparing a beautiful assortment of hors d’oeuvres that made the event even more special. 💐

Thank you to everyone who helped make this celebration of women artists, creativity, and community such a success!

🍻 Oktoberfest at First Community Village! 🇩🇪🎶

Last night, everyone was a little German at First Community Village! What an incredible evening celebrating our residents, our community, and the wonderful people who make FCV such a special place to call home.

Our amazing Culinary Team truly outdid themselves, serving up an incredible spread of authentic German cuisine. Every bite made the evening feel like a little trip to Germany — and our packed house certainly agreed! 👏🥨🍖

We were also honored to recognize the EMS, firefighters, and police officers who give so much of themselves to protect and serve our community. Thank you for all you do — we are incredibly grateful for you! ❤️💙

With German music, alphorns, delicious food, and wonderful fellowship, it was an evening filled with laughter, celebration, and plenty of Oktoberfest spirit!

A huge PROST! 🍻 to our residents, families, incredible FCV team, Culinary Team, and community heroes who made the night so memorable.

🌰🏈 Buckeye Bash at First Community Village was one for the books! 🏈🌰

There’s nothing quite like bringing our FCV family together for a day filled with Buckeye spirit, great food, music, laughter, and memories! ❤️

We were so excited to welcome the OSU Alumni Band and the one and only Brutus Buckeye! The energy was incredible, and our residents had an absolute blast! 🥁🎺🏈

A HUGE shoutout to our amazing Culinary Team! 👏🔥 You truly outdid yourselves with an incredible BBQ spread. From the delicious food to the beautiful presentation and all the behind-the-scenes preparation, you made this celebration extra special. Our residents couldn’t stop talking about how wonderful everything was! 🍔🌽🍰

And we have to give some serious love to the entire FCV team. Events like this don’t happen without a team that cares deeply about our residents and goes the extra mile to create meaningful experiences. From planning and decorating to serving, entertaining, welcoming, and celebrating alongside our residents—you are what makes First Community Village so special. ❤️

We have SO much fun at FCV, but what we love most is the people who make this community feel like family. We are incredibly grateful for our residents and the wonderful team who makes every day brighter.

Their passion, creativity, and commitment truly shine through in every meal—and our residents are the lucky ones who get to enjoy it! ❤️

We are so grateful for this incredible team and everything they do to make First Community Village feel like home.

Our 4th Annual Antique Car Show at First Community Village was one for the books! 🚗❤️

With 31 beautiful antique cars ranging from 1910 to 1970, our residents, families, friends, and team members enjoyed a wonderful trip down memory lane. There was so much nostalgia surrounding these incredible cars and the eras they represent—it was truly special to see the smiles and hear the stories they inspired.

Our amazing Culinary Team hosted an awesome cookout, and the fun continued with a raffle and silent auction. Add in beautiful weather and wonderful company, and it was the perfect day! ☀️

At First Community Village, we love creating experiences that bring our residents joy, spark memories, and bring our community together. Seeing everyone having such a wonderful time is what makes events like this so meaningful. 💙

A very special thank you to the First Community Village Foundation for hosting such an amazing event and helping make this memorable day possible!

Our assisted living community is always finding fun ways to stay active, engaged, and connected! 🎳💙 Even on a rainy, windy day, our residents were enjoying Wii Bowling, sharing laughs, and making wonderful memories together.

Who says the funnies are just for Sundays? 😊

Our residents recently enjoyed a wonderful visit to the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum at The Ohio State University, home to the world's largest collection dedicated to cartoons, comics, and graphic art. From iconic comic strips to original artwork and fascinating exhibits, the experience sparked laughter, nostalgia, and great conversation as everyone shared memories of favorite characters and stories.

At First Community Village, we believe every day is an opportunity to explore, learn, and make meaningful connections. Whether we're discovering local treasures or enjoying time together, our residents are always creating new memories.

What a fun night at the Taste of Senior Living! 🎉 We had a great time joining 11 retirement communities for an evening of delicious food, friendly competition, and awesome networking.

On our menu: 🦀 crab cakes over watermelon radish slaw with mango and 🍋 key lime pie shooters. They were definitely crowd favorites!

Huge shoutout to Chef Nathan for knocking it out of the park and representing our community so well. We couldn't be prouder! Thanks to everyone who stopped by our table and made it such a great evening. We’re already looking forward to next year! ❤️
