Volunteers are an important part of the care team, providing companionship, emotional support, and meaningful connection for patients and families navigating the end-of-life journey. Whether it’s sharing stories, sitting quietly beside someone, reading aloud, or offering caregivers a moment to rest, these simple acts can bring tremendous comfort.
