Cold & flu season is here, so here’s a friendly reminder from your Restore team:
If you’re feeling sick, please reschedule your massage. We promise—we’d much rather see you when you’re feeling better!
Massage may sound wonderful when you’re achy, congested, or run-down, but when your body is actively fighting an illness, it needs rest and recovery. Massage can sometimes leave already inflamed and sensitive tissues feeling even more sore or exhausted.
There’s also the bigger picture. Massage means spending an extended amount of time in close contact with your therapist. If your therapist gets sick, it can mean several days of canceled appointments—and illness can potentially be passed along to other clients, including those who may be more vulnerable.
If you have a new cough, sore throat, fever, chills, body aches, or other symptoms of a contagious illness, please reach out and reschedule.
Stay home. Rest. Hydrate. Recover.
Then come see us when you’re feeling better.
Thank you for helping us protect our therapists, their families, and everyone who comes through our doors.
