After closing out another incredible week at the AUA Annual Meeting 2026, Dr. Paul Perito, Joel Chechik, and a crew of “misfit urologists” took the stage at ChurchKey in Washington D.C. for the now legendary AUA “Open Jam.”

What started as a post-conference hangout turned into a packed night of live music, laughs, libations, and surgeons proving they can keep rhythm both in and out of the OR.

Because behind every abstract, implant debate, and surgical lecture… there’s still a group of friends who love medicine, music, and having a good time together.

This is the side of urology people don’t always get to see.

Another incredible week of advanced prosthetic urology training at Perito Urology.

We had the privilege of hosting PGY5 residents Dr. Andrew Drozd and Dr. Anish Patel from Case Western Reserve University / University Hospitals for an immersive 1:1 pe**le implant surgical experience focused on the Perito minimally invasive infrapubic approach.

Over two intense days, the team worked through 5 complex reconstructive and prosthetic cases, including:
• Pe**le fracture reconstruction
• Pelvic fracture-related erectile dysfunction
• Peyronie’s plaque disease
• Advanced reservoir placement techniques
• Complex revision and difficult anatomy cases
• Post-operative management and troubleshooting

From surgical anatomy to operative efficiency and complication management, these courses are designed to give the next generation of prosthetic urologists real-world exposure to the challenging cases that shape high-volume men’s health surgery.
