Help us grow something special this holiday season. πŸŽ„

OneQuest Health is inviting our partners and allies to join the OneQuest Health Annual Giving Tree Project.

Here’s how it works: your business, faith community, civic organization, school, or group hosts a holiday tree at your location. The tree is decorated with ornaments, and each ornament carries a request for a gift card that supports the children, families, and associates who are part of the OneQuest Health community.

Gift cards make a true difference in everyday life. Here's how πŸ‘‰
β›½ Fuel cards provide transportation for clients to medical appointments and recreation activities
🍽️ Restaurant cards provide special treats when treatment progress needs to be celebrated
πŸ›’ Grocery cards provide needed supplies for five campuses and help with event expenses
πŸ“¦ Amazon cards help with clothing and household furnishing needs

Once your organization expresses interest, the OneQuest Health Philanthropy Office will provide the specific gift card requests, so you’ll have everything you need to get your tree up and running.

Every ornament is a small act of care. Together, they become something much bigger.

Interested in hosting a tree? Visit onequesthealth.org or call (859)-261-8768 to learn more.

Sixteen years of vision. Sixteen years of impact. 🌿

On October 25, 2010, Rick Wurth joined Children’s Home of Northern Kentucky as Director of Development. He was quickly promoted to Vice President of Development, and just two years later, he stepped into the role of Chief Executive Officer, continuing to serve as Chief Philanthropy Officer as well.

Over the past sixteen years, Rick has led the transformation of a small agency focused primarily on the care of children in state custody into OneQuest Health, an evidence-based health care organization. His leadership has changed thousands of lives in Northern Kentucky and beyond.

Please join us in congratulating Rick on his 16th anniversary and thanking him for the unwavering support he has given to our staff and the clients we serve. πŸ‘

Honor his legacy with a gift of $16 a month.

We invite you to mark this milestone with us by donating $16 per month ($1 for each year of Rick’s leadership). Monthly giving is one of the most powerful ways to be Proactive, Empowering, Resilient, and Catalytic alongside us. Your monthly gift can be drawn from either your credit card or your bank account on any day of the month you choose. This provides steady, reliable support that allows our teams to plan ahead, respond quickly, and expand the programs that change lives. Small, consistent gifts add up to a transformative impact: $192 per year can help sustain the care and services our community depends on.

Meet Akiko Frietsch, our Front Desk Receptionist and Director of First Impressions βœ¨πŸ˜ŠπŸ’.

Akiko’s smiling face is the first thing you see when you walk through our doors, and her warmth makes everyone feel welcome from the very first moment. We are thrilled to celebrate her recent journey to Africa, a lifelong dream she has now proudly crossed off her bucket list.

Akiko was captivated by the wildlife, yet it was the people who left the deepest impression. The warmth and generosity of the communities she met reminded her that kindness is a language everyone understands.

At OneQuest Health, our associates are bridge builders, just like our founder, Amos Shinkle. Akiko builds bridges every day, between people, communities, and cultures, whether from our front desk or across a continent.

Welcome back, Akiko, and thank you for the welcome you extend to all.

Every move builds something greater. β™ŸοΈ

Each week, the Cincinnati Chess Club joins our residential clients at OneQuest Health for an afternoon of strategy, mentorship, and encouragement. Chess is far more than a game. It sharpens focus, strengthens critical thinking, and teaches young minds to plan with intention and rebound with resilience. Across the board, confidence grows and meaningful connections take root.

To the Cincinnati Chess Club: thank you for investing your time and expertise in our children. Your presence helps them discover strengths they may not yet know they have.

Help us keep making the right moves for children in our care. Your support sustains enrichment programs like this one and transforms lives, one opportunity at a time. Learn more or give today at onequesthealth.org

Resilience, one mile at a time. 🐝

Our OneQuest Health hive is buzzing with pride for Crystal Leugers, our Chief Programming Officer, who completed the Queen Bee Half Marathon in Cincinnati!

Crystal was joined by her friends Megan Vollmer and Brittany Speed, and together they showed what dedication, determination, and community look like.

At OneQuest Health, we believe that caring for others begins with caring for ourselves. Our clinicians and associates give so much of themselves each day, and prioritizing movement, rest, and restoration is essential to sustaining that work.

When we make time for our own well-being, we show up with greater energy, compassion, and purpose for the people we serve.

Thank you, Crystal, for leading by example and reminding us that investing in ourselves is one of the most powerful ways to invest in our community.

Mental health begins with being safe and standing against bullying. πŸ’œβšΎ

Happy from all of us at OneQuest Health! Today, our team suited up in our OneQuest Health Pride gear to send a clear message to LGBTQ+ youth: you are loved, supported, and valued exactly as you are. πŸ’œ

From being Kentucky’s first organization to achieve HRC Innovator Status in 2019 to partnering with community organizations like the Cincinnati Reds on anti-bullying initiatives, creating safe and inclusive spaces for all youth is at the heart of who we are.

We’re proud to share a special relationship with the Cincinnati Reds, whose beloved mascot joins us as a special guest at our annual breakfast year after year! As annual season ticket holders, we’re grateful for the opportunity to continue building this connection and working together to promote kindness, inclusion, and acceptance throughout our community. ❀️⚾

Join us in taking a stand against bullying! Together, we can create a world where every young person feels safe, accepted, and empowered to be themselves. πŸ’œ
