The discussion brought awareness to an important issue and gave residents space to learn and better understand warning signs that can affect people of ALL ages. 📖

Memorial Day carries deep meaning for many of our residents, especially those who have lived through war, served alongside others, or loved someone who never made it home.

Monday's gathering gave our residents time to honor and remember the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Through the veterans' memorial wall, time with loved ones, and moments of reflection together, the day was filled with gratitude, remembrance, and respect. 🇺🇸

For 10 years, Melanie Freeman has been one of the first familiar faces residents see at Peninsula Del Rey!

As a receptionist, she helps with the practical things, like transportation, questions, and the daily details that keep life moving. But the moments that stay with her are often little things: a quick laugh, a sweet exchange, a resident letting her know the love and appreciation goes both ways.
