What happens after screening for the Lighthouse Study? 🧠🔬

Katherine Coerver, MD, PhD, FAAN, Principal Investigator at CenExel Denver, explains how researchers screen for P. gingivalis and confirm Alzheimer’s-related pathology before enrollment.

Eligible participants have an equal chance of receiving either the investigational medication designed to target P. gingivalis or a placebo. Throughout the study, participants receive regular safety evaluations, including blood work and EKGs, while researchers examine whether targeting this bacterium may affect Alzheimer’s disease progression.
