Chesapeake Voyagers, Inc is a Peer run organization that provides peer support to residents of the five Mid-Shore and Anne Arundel counties dealing with mental health or addiction issues.

We held our annual Summer Splash celebration last Friday, hosting a big cookout, and having a blast playing water games. We had a massive water balloon fight, spent the afternoon chasing each other around with water guns, and dancing on the splash pad. Thanks to everyone who came out to spend the day with us! A special thank you to our volunteer grill master for the day, and all our volunteers who helped make the event a hit!

We also handed out our semi-annual Peer Awards during Summer Splash. Congratulations to Erica, Mr. Don, and Mr. James Gamble for their awards! And a special thank you to Mr. Bob for his recent generous donation to our program.

Virtual Young Adult Program via Zoom is this Saturday the 22nd. If you're a young person aged 18-35, come hang out! We make friends, get and give support, and have a lot of fun together! It's a great way to grow community support in your life, meet new cool people, and try something new! There's no pressure to stay the whole time, so feel free to hop on and say hello!

You can join from 12-2 PM or 5-7 PM or attend both sessions! We'll post a reminder with links to join on Saturday. 😎
