We loved welcoming the kids from Cornerstone VBS for an afternoon of Bingo with our residents! Our residents loved spending time with these amazing young visitors. Thank you for brightening our day!

🌧️☔ Even though the rain kept falling yesterday, we didn’t let it stop the fun at Grand Haven! Our residents enjoyed a wonderful afternoon playing BINGO and spending time together.

Meanwhile, our adorable ducklings in the courtyard were having the time of their lives splashing around in the rain! They are growing so fast, and it’s been such a joy watching them become bigger and more adventurous each day.

Rainy days are always a little brighter when they’re filled with good company, great games, and happy ducklings! 🦆

Students from Virgil Grissom Elementary meet their pen pals, Sue and Leo, in person for a special day of friendship, conversation, and games. The intergenerational pen pal program brings students and seniors together to build meaningful connections across generations.

Grand Haven is proud to recognize Dan Collins, our Manager and dedicated EMS responder, who was recently honored by the Iowa Donor Network for his role in supporting life-saving organ donation efforts in Scott County.

Thank you, Dan, and all first responders, for your service, compassion, and commitment to our community.

The Iowa Donor Network honored the EMS responders of Scott County with a Challenge Coin at the Scott County Administration Building.

Scott County EMS sets the standard by transporting the most patients whose donations resulted in 26 organ transplants in Iowa.

This event shows light on some of the darkest of days. We are extremely grateful for the families and patients that made a difficult but profound decision to give life to another.

Thank you to all responders that answer the call, everyday.

Departments honored; MEDIC of Scott County and MED-COM, Bettendorf Fire Department, Davenport Fire Department, Eldridge Fire Department, and Long Grove Fire Department.
