❤️ Integrity Nursing Stands With the Lulu Ross Elementary School Community ❤️ PLEASE SHARE!!!!
We are heartbroken to hear about the devastating fire that destroyed Lulu Ross Elementary School over the weekend. Our thoughts are with the students, teachers, staff, families, and the entire community as they begin to process this tremendous loss.
As we think about the impact of this tragedy, we are especially mindful of the teachers who lost not only their classrooms, but also the countless supplies, decorations, learning materials, and personal belongings they purchased with their own money to create welcoming, engaging spaces for their students. We know how much of their own time, heart, and resources teachers invest in their classrooms, and we can only imagine how difficult it must be to see so much of that work lost overnight.
Integrity Nursing LLC would like to sponsor a teacher to help replenish classroom supplies and materials as they begin the difficult process of rebuilding. We hope this small gesture can help ease some of the burden and remind our educators that their community stands behind them.
🍎 Help us find a teacher to support! If you know a teacher from Lulu Ross Elementary who could use a little extra help rebuilding their classroom, please tag them in the comments below! We will randomly select one teacher from those tagged to receive our classroom supply sponsorship. Let's help spread the word and make sure our amazing educators know they haven't been forgotten.
We also encourage other local businesses, organizations, and community members who are able to contribute to consider joining this effort. Whether it is helping one teacher, donating supplies, or supporting a larger rebuilding initiative, every act of kindness can make a difference.
Our community is strongest when we come together to support one another. We may not be able to undo what happened, but we can help rebuild what comes next.

Please join us in congratulating our very own Derek Sheets on his selection as Vice President of the Board of Directors for the National Developmental Disabilities Nurses Association (DDNA)!
This is an incredible accomplishment for Derek personally and a meaningful milestone for Integrity Nursing, the state of Delaware, and the individuals and families we are privileged to serve.
For Derek, this opportunity represents recognition of his years of dedication to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, his commitment to nursing, and his belief that every person deserves compassionate, respectful, person-centered healthcare. His journey from working directly with individuals with disabilities to becoming a nurse, building Integrity Nursing, and now serving in a national leadership role is a tremendous accomplishment.
For Integrity Nursing, this honor reinforces our commitment to advancing the role of nurses in the IDD community. It gives Derek an even greater opportunity to bring the experiences and perspectives of Delaware’s individuals, families, nurses, and support professionals to a national organization dedicated to advancing developmental disabilities nursing.
For Delaware, having a nurse from our state serve in a national leadership position is an exciting opportunity to highlight the important work happening here and to bring greater attention to the healthcare needs of Delawareans with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Most importantly, this recognition represents an opportunity to continue advocating for the individuals we support. Their voices, needs, dignity, health, safety, choices, and quality of life are at the center of why we do what we do. We are proud that their experiences will help inform Derek’s work on a national level.
We also want to take a moment to say THANK YOU.
Thank you to everyone who has supported Derek throughout his nursing career and the journey of building Integrity Nursing. Thank you to our incredible team, colleagues, community partners, and everyone who has believed in our mission.
Most importantly, thank you to the individuals and families who trust Derek and Integrity Nursing to be part of their healthcare journey. That trust is something we never take for granted. Every person we serve reminds us why this work matters and why advocacy for better healthcare for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities must continue.
This achievement belongs to more than one person. It represents the collective support of a community that believes individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities deserve excellent healthcare, strong advocacy, dignity, respect, and a voice in their own lives.

It is an incredible honor to receive the Delaware Chamber of Commerce Superstars in Business Award of Excellence for 2026.
Building Integrity Nursing from the ground up has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. I am especially grateful for the opportunity to serve individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families, and to advocate for the quality, dignity, and access to healthcare they deserve.
This recognition is a reflection of the dedication of our entire Integrity Nursing team and the individuals and families who trust us every day. I am truly grateful for this honor and excited for what the future holds.

Congratulations to Josie Orozco-Spence on passing her certification exam. She is now officially a Certified Developmental Disability Nurse!!! She is an expert in her field. This further demonstrates our commitment to the individual’s that we serve. Integrity Nursing is proud to now have four certified nurses working together to ensure that we continue to provide the very best nursing services in the State of Delaware.

Integrity Nursing LLC is officially FIVE years old today!!! 🎉
What started as a vision to provide compassionate, quality support for individuals with IDD has grown into something I could have only hoped for. These past five years have been filled with growth, challenges, unforgettable moments, and so many amazing people along the way.
I am incredibly grateful for my wife, every family, nurse, caregiver, friend, and supporter who believed in me and encouraged me to take this path. Your support and motivation have meant more than you know.
Most importantly, thank you to the individuals and their families that we have the privilege of supporting every day. You are the reason behind everything we do.
I’m proud of how far Integrity Nursing has come, and I’m excited for many more years of growth, advocacy, and making a difference in the IDD community. ❤️

Today we celebrate Nurses Day, but more importantly, we celebrate the heart of healthcare every single day.
