Valley Christian Counseling & Wellness is looking for a Financial Assistant / Bookkeeper to join our team!

Do you love numbers, notice the details, and want your work behind the scenes to help make healing possible?

This role will help care for the day-to-day financial processes that keep Valley running well.

💻 WHAT YOU’LL DO:
• Bookkeeping and financial data entry
• Accounts payable + receivable
• Payments, deposits, and reconciliations
• Payroll and contractor payments
• Maintain accurate donor and financial records
• Investigate discrepancies and support Finance Office needs

🙌 YOU MIGHT LOVE THIS JOB IF YOU:
• Actually enjoy working with numbers
• Value accuracy and attention to detail
• Are dependable and follow through
• Can work independently and take ownership
• Handle confidential information with exceptional care
• Are humble, teachable, and willing to ask questions

Bookkeeping or accounting experience is important, but we’re also paying attention to how you’re wired. We want someone we can trust deeply with the details.

Back-to-school season is here. 🎒

As we check off the supply lists and get everyone ready, it’s worth remembering that some of the most important things our kids need won’t fit in a backpack.

They need encouragement. Patience. Grace as they adjust. Someone who notices the good. Someone who listens. Someone who believes in them.

A new school year is a big transition. Let’s make sure our kids know they don’t have to navigate it alone. 💛

Sometimes learning a new sound takes more than simply hearing it.

Kelsey Knodel, Speech-Language Pathologist at Valley, uses visual tools to help kids see where their tongue should go, understand how a sound is made, and practice it with greater confidence.

What could a more vibrant, personal relationship with God look like in your everyday life?

Life with God is a 12-week small group experience created by Crafted Life Studios to help you explore that question. Through individual spiritual practices, weekly small group gatherings, and authentic Christian community, you’ll be invited to experience a relationship with God that is deeply personal, experiential, and alive.

The group will be facilitated by Karen Moore, Spiritual Director at Valley Christian Counseling & Wellness.
