New center. New faces. A new culture built together. 🙂

Our South Bend Learning Center held its second-quarter staff development training, where center director (CD) Christina Wyse led our crew through the spaghetti tower challenge using spaghetti 🍝, string ➿, tape, and marshmallows.

What started as a wobbly building challenge quickly became an exercise in communication 👂, problem-solving 💡, conflict management, and building consensus. We also explored different communication and personality styles, adding another layer to how we think about working together.

Our team is helping shape our newest Learning Center from the ground up, one conversation, one idea, and one pasta-powered build at a time. 💪

Staff development built around the details that matter! 📋

At our Elkhart Learning Center, our Q2 training session gave team members a chance to strengthen the everyday systems that help keep our services organized, consistent, and connected to families, including:

✔️ Writing session notes and incident reports

✔️ Maintaining session organization

✔️ Learning program writing and Behavioral Skills Training (BST)

We worked in role-specific groups, giving everyone time to practice tools tied to their day-to-day responsibilities.
