Just a reminder: I have a podcast interview coming up TODAY at 4 pm EDT!

Join me and my friend and fellow musician, Heidi Aderman, as we record the premiere episode of her podcast, Do Music Differently. We will be discussing, as you may have guessed, how to do music careers differently. Central question: What if the rules shaping your music career aren't facts? You can see and hear the show by going to W4WN Radio at https://w4wn.com/.

And feel free to pass this along to anyone you know who might be interested in doing music (or any career) differently.

Celebration time! On this day in 2023, I became a bestselling author when my book, The Tenth Muse: How Maria Antonia Advanced the Pastoral Opera, reached #1 in three categories: New Release, Biographies of Classical Composers, and Historical Germany Biography. Thanks to all who bought and reviewed it. Couldn't have had this success without you!🎉🎉🎉

Rome? Florence? Nope. Posing in the gardens of the John and Mable Ringling Museum during a recent trip to Sarasota. Love the European Art Collection and the gardens are Tea-lightful!

For Day 15, a whimsical rhyme inspired by a couple of real events:

Still in August of 2011. May it bring a smile to your face. Oh my stars, a marble! Is it yours?. . . No. . .?! It may be one of those I lost a while ago...
