I’m excited to begin a new chapter with Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS). Starting October 19, I will be practicing at the Colonial Cancer Center in Fort Myers.

Throughout my career, my focus has always been on delivering compassionate, evidence-based care close to home. Joining FCS allows me to continue that mission while collaborating with a network of dedicated professionals who share a commitment to improving outcomes for patients across our community. FCS is nationally recognized for its commitment to clinical excellence, innovative research, and patient-focused care. I look forward to this opportunity and all that lies ahead.

Breast cancer care is truly a team effort, and I’m grateful to work alongside talented women who are just as passionate about supporting patients throughout their journey.

One of my favorite parts of breast cancer surgery is using advanced lymphatic techniques to help prevent lymphedema before it starts. 💜

During axillary surgery, techniques like reverse arm mapping allow us to identify the lymphatic pathways draining the arm so we can better protect them whenever safely possible.

Lymphedema prevention should be part of the surgical plan—not an afterthought.

If lymph node surgery is part of your breast cancer treatment, ask your surgeon: What is the plan to protect my lymphatic system?

Sixteen years after high school, countless exams, long nights, and more cups of coffee than I can count… I’m doing what I once dreamed about as a kid growing up in Fort Myers.

The journey wasn’t always easy, but every step led me here. None of it would have been possible without the incredible support of my family, who believed in me through every challenge and celebrated every milestone along the way.

Today, I’m grateful to care for my patients and still love what I do every day. ❤️
