My body has been showing major signs of stress lately. Pre-chiropractic I would have popped some meds, carried on and called it a day. Neglecting to listen to my body and make necessary changes.
As a chiropractor working through my own flare-up, here’s what I’m actually doing 👇🏼
1️⃣ Getting adjusted regularly to support my nervous system’s ability to adapt
2️⃣ Doing the same exercises I give my patients (yes… I practice what I preach 😅)
3️⃣ Listening to my body and dialing back workout intensity instead of pushing through
4️⃣ Eating enough real, clean food + adding electrolytes to my water
5️⃣ Remembering this: I’m not broken. My body is communicating—and I’m listening.
Healing isn’t about forcing your body into submission.
It’s about creating safety, support, and space for it to do what it was designed to do 🤍
If you’re in a flare-up right now, this is your reminder: slow down, tune in, and trust your body.
