Today we’re celebrating what it means to be a Texas Health Hero 💙

A Texas Health Hero is someone who goes beyond exceptional clinical care to deliver compassion, comfort, and connection when it matters most. When patients and families are so moved by their experience that they choose to give back in gratitude—that’s the true meaning of this honor.

Please join us in recognizing Kelli Cutshall with Outpatient Physical Therapy for embodying the heart of Texas Health Fort Worth. Your dedication, empathy, and commitment to healing inspired a meaningful expression of thanks and support for our mission.

The Texas Health Heroes program exists because of caregivers like you—those who consistently combine skill and compassion to make a lasting difference every single day.

Congratulations, Kelli, and thank you for living out the Mission and Promises that define who we are at Texas Health. 👏

He didn’t think it was a heart attack.
John had been working outside in the Texas heat when he started to feel off—sweaty, weak, trying to cool down with cold water. Someone called 911. When EMS arrived, they found he was having a severe heart attack. Then it got worse. John suddenly went unconscious… and had no pulse. CPR started immediately.

He was rushed to Texas Health Stephenville, stabilized, and flown by CareFlite to Texas Health Fort Worth’s Comprehensive Cardiac Center.

He’s alive because everything worked:

Someone recognized something was wrong
Someone called 911
CPR was started right away

Today, John is on his way to a full recovery. ❤️

Feeling exhausted no matter how much you sleep? You're not alone. Fatigue is one of the most common reasons people visit their primary care doctor — and one of the hardest to figure out on your own. The causes often overlap: not enough quality sleep, chronic stress, or an underlying health condition like thyroid issues or anemia. The key question: Does rest actually help? If the answer is no, it's worth a conversation with your doctor.

Quick Answer: Fatigue is one of the most common reasons people visit their primary care doctor — and one of the hardest to self-diagnose, because the causes overlap so much. The key question isn't how tired you are, but whether rest actually helps. Tiredness that improves after a good night's slee...
