The yoga teacher in me who travels for her 9-5 def thinks it’s kinda chic to set aside time to stretch when traveling, even if it’s a single asana.
& If I can recommend just one: legs up the wall (viparita karani). Most people know it feels good, but few know it’s also doing real mechanical work: draining fluid that’s pooled in your calves and ankles from sitting all day, easing the shortened hamstrings that come from hours in an airplane seat, and triggering your vagus nerve to physically slow your heart rate down, not just “relax” you in a vague sense. Ten minutes, feet up the headboard, arms wide. Works in literally any hotel room ✈️ Enjoy!
