A little Sparkleberry gratitude. 🤍

Our regular Sparkleberry Art classes are FULL, and I couldn't be more grateful!

What an incredible blessing it has been to bring these creative experiences to our community. Watching children explore, create, build confidence, and discover what they're capable of has been such a gift.

I'm so thankful for every family who has trusted me with their children and supported what we're building at Sparkleberry. It truly means more than I can express.

Our official Sparkleberry Waitlist is NOW OPEN!

If you've been hoping to join one of our regular art classes, we'd love for you to add your little artist to our waitlist! We'll reach out as spaces become available.

Looking ahead to Spring 2027, our current Sparkleberry families will receive priority enrollment before registration opens to new families.

And while our regular classes are full, the creativity continues! We'll still be offering special events, workshops, and seasonal art experiences throughout the year.

Thank you for being part of this growing creative community. I feel incredibly blessed to share my love of art and education with so many wonderful children and families!

A little look at what's coming to Sparkleberry this week!

Thursday's Art Academy🎨artists will be finishing their Blue Dog paintings and creating colorful patterned pumpkin collages. We'll be exploring color, pattern, composition, and all the different ways we can approach the same idea.

Friday's Maker/Art Studio Day🫟is all about creative choice! We'll have weaving, watercolor and oil pastel resist, autumn leaf printmaking, and open studio materials for anyone who wants to take their own idea in a completely different direction.

One thing I've always believed as an educator is that children need opportunities to think for themselves, not just follow directions.

I don't want fourteen identical pieces of artwork leaving the studio. I want to see fourteen different approaches, different decisions, and children learning to trust their own ideas.

That's what we're building at Sparkleberry.

I mean… look at these. 😍

Today was Layered Canvas at Maker Day and they were SO good.

We started by painting our canvases, then everyone chose an animal and we just started building — drawing, scrapbook paper, paint, plaster, texture, little embellishments… whatever they needed to make it theirs.

And they are all SO different.

I absolutely loved watching these come together today. The creativity in this group is just incredible and they seriously surprise me every single time.

Such a fun morning at Sparkleberry. 🎨 where we aren’t just an art class for a whole experience!!

🍂💛🌻Mommy + Me with Sparkleberry Creative Studio and Growing Green Families

Today was just… sweet. 🤍 like sooo sweet!!!

I knew this would be a fun morning of art, but I don’t think I realized just how beautiful it would be to watch and be a special part of.

Mamas sitting under the trees with their little artists. Tiny hands covered in paint… and mommas too. Creating together. Talking. Laughing. Slowing down for just a little while.

My mommy heart was exploding.🥰

Somewhere in the middle of all the paint and pinecones and little hands making their marks, it became so much more than an art experience. It was connection. It was moms getting to be together while their babies created beside them. And it was just really, really special.

And I already know I want more of this.

So… our Holiday Mommy + Me is officially in the works. 🎄🤍

Think a beautiful little mom social + an amazing holiday art experience for our littlest artists — something you’ll actually look forward to and something beautiful you’ll leave with.

Date coming soon. But this one is SOOO going on the calendar. ✨

We will be at Growing Green Santa Rosa for this one too!

Layered + Canvas

This Friday at Maker Day 🎨

We’re trading the building tools for paint brushes! Layered + Canvas — an entire morning of painting, texture, color and mixed media, ending with a one-of-a-kind canvas completely their own.

We’re slowing things down and getting back to some REAL art making. Layered + Canvas will give our artists a chance to build a canvas from the ground up — painting, layering, creating texture, adding mixed media and making all of those little artistic decisions that turn a blank canvas into something completely their own.
No two will look alike. These are going to be REALLY good. 🤍

Friday • 9–12 | Ages 5–12 | $60

Little hands. Mama right beside them. And a morning spent creating together under the trees. 🌿

This Wednesday at Growing Green Families , our littlest artists and their moms will work side by side to create a beautiful finished canvas using nature as their art tools — pinecones for stamping, pine needles for paintbrushes, leaves, texture and lots of color.

It’s meant to be slow, hands-on and sweet. A chance to get outside in this beautiful cooler weather, explore together, make a little mess, and leave with a piece of art that you created together and will actually want to keep.

And honestly, I can’t think of a sweeter atmosphere for it than a morning under the trees at Growing Green.

Mommy + Me at Growing Green Families
Wednesday • 9:30–11:00
Ages 18 months–4 years
65 Eden Dr. • Santa Rosa Beach

We still have room for a few more little artists + their mamas. 🌿
