Pride Checklist Time! Make sure you are checking your local P-Flag and LGBTQIA+ community for events to support. In this post we highlighted some of the LGBTQIA+ flags. The flags represented are: Pansexual, Bigender, Agender, Polysexual, Intersex, Bisexual, Asexual, Transgender, Non-Binary, Le***an, The Progress Updated pride flag, Genderq***r, Aromantic, Androgyne and Genderfluid. There are many more flags that are apart of our community as well like the polyamorous, the ally and Neutrois flags! + ***rlove

What is Pride Month?
• Celebrated every June
• Honors the Stonewall Uprising of 1969
• A time to promote love, equality, and human rights for all people
What Does LGBTQIA+ Stand For?
L – Le***an
G – Gay
B – Bisexual
T – Transgender
Q – Q***r or Questioning
I – Intersex
A – Asexual or Ally

How can we create safer spaces for LGBTQIA+ people?
1. Equal Treatment-Ensure that all LGBTQIA+ people are respected and treated equally.
2. Gender-Neutral Language- provide gender-neutral language and pronouns such as “they/them” in all forms of communication
3. Avoid hate speech- Create a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to hate speech and discrimination.
4. Pride Flags- Display LGBTQIA+ pride flags and symbols in visible areas to show your support.
