Please join us in congratulating Mark Geppert, our Resident of the Month!
One of Mark’s favorite things about living at The Oscar is the strong sense of community. He appreciates the friendly residents, welcoming atmosphere, and the
wide variety of activities available. His advice to anyone considering senior living is simple: get out, get involved, and meet as many people as you can. Some of Mark’s favorite activities include poker, happy hour, and taking walks around the community. He is also an avid reader and enjoys staying active and engaged.
Mark grew up in College Station and owned a printing company with his wife. Among his proudest accomplishments are raising four boys, which remains one of his most cherished memories. What makes Mark happiest about living at The Oscar is seeing his wife happy as well. He loves the abundance of activities and the wonderful environment our community provides. When asked about the most important lesson he has learned in life, Mark shared these simple but powerful words: “Never quit.” Congratulations, Mark! Thank you for being such a valued member of The Oscar family.

💦 Making a Splash for Better Health! 💙

Water aerobics is one of the best low-impact exercises for older adults. It helps improve strength, balance, flexibility, and heart health while being gentle on the joints. Even better, it's a fun way to stay active, build friendships, and enjoy every splash together!

At The Oscar at Georgetown, staying healthy is always more fun when we do it together. 🌊💙

🚒❤️ We had an amazing time celebrating our First Responders Brunch today! A special shoutout to Koda, Georgetown Fire Department's very first Fire Dog, for stopping by and stealing everyone's hearts. 🐾

Rainy days call for a little indoor fun! ⛳️ Our residents enjoyed a round of indoor putt-putt, sharing laughs, friendly competition, and plenty of great shots along the way. Sometimes the best memories are made when we bring the fun inside! 😊🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♀️
