We are incredibly grateful to everyone who participated in our recent blood drive at The Oscar at Georgetown. Thanks to the generosity of 21 donors, an estimated 63 lives can be saved through these life-giving donations!

Every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood. Whether it’s for accident victims, cancer patients, surgical procedures, or those battling chronic illnesses, donated blood plays a critical role in saving lives and supporting our communities.

We’re proud to be part of an effort that makes such a meaningful impact. Thank you to our residents, families, team members, and community members who rolled up their sleeves to give the gift of life. Your kindness and compassion truly make a difference.

Leann brings an impressive 15 years of experience in the senior living industry, along with a passion for helping families navigate important life transitions with compassion, professionalism, and care. Known for her approachable personality and genuine connections with residents and families, Leann has built a reputation for creating trust, delivering exceptional service, and helping communities thrive.

Throughout her career, her strong leadership and strategic marketing expertise have contributed to achieving and maintaining 100% occupancy in the communities she has supported. She firmly believes that building meaningful relationships is the foundation of success in senior living and takes pride in creating positive experiences for residents, families, and team members alike.

When she’s not at work, Leann enjoys spending time with her two children, Cayden (19) and Jaylee (17), attending concerts, working in her yard, and exploring the outdoors through hiking adventures.

Nothing says summer like great food, laughter, and community! ☀️🍔🌭 Our Backyard BBQ at The Oscar at Georgetown was an incredible day filled with residents, family members, and members of the outside community coming together to enjoy delicious BBQ, fun conversations, and unforgettable memories.

Fun fact: Americans consume nearly 7 billion hot dogs between Memorial Day and Labor Day each year — proving that BBQ season really is a summertime favorite! 🔥

A huge shoutout to our amazing Lifestyles, Sales & Operations, Dining, and Maintenance teams for all of their hard work and assistance in making this event such a success. Your dedication and teamwork helped create a wonderful experience for everyone who attended!

There were plenty of smiles and soft cuddles at The Oscar at Georgetown today as some adorable rabbits hopped in to visit our residents! 🐇💛

Animal visits like these are more than just fun — pet therapy has been shown to help reduce stress, ease feelings of loneliness, encourage social interaction, and bring comfort and joy to seniors. The simple act of petting or spending time with animals can brighten moods and create meaningful moments of connection.

Our residents loved every minute of these furry little visitors, and we’re so grateful for the happiness they brought to our community today! 🐰✨

Our residents at The Oscar at Georgetown had such a wonderful time being part of our newest commercial, now airing regularly on KXAN throughout Georgetown and neighboring communities! Seeing their smiles, personalities, and joy shine on screen has been such a special experience for everyone involved.

We are incredibly proud to showcase the vibrant community, friendships, and meaningful moments that make The Oscar feel like home. Most of all, our residents loved being the stars of the show! 🌟
