Fifty years.

Not an ending.
Not some weird “holy s**t, I am old” milestone. 😆

Just fifty years of being alive.

Fifty years of love and loss, laughter and mistakes, discoveries and changes, and all the weird-ass winding roads that somehow brought me right here.

And today, I am simply grateful.

Grateful for where I have been.
Grateful for where I am.
And really fu***ng curious about where this beautiful life takes me next.

Fifty.

F**k yes. 🤍🎂

🤍 FROM THE SANCTUM ~ GRACE FOR MYSELF 🤍

☝️ For my friends who prefer to move through the slides.

👇 And for my friends who would rather stay here with the words.

I found myself sitting with a question:

How do I give myself the same grace I so freely offer to others?

For a while, I think I was looking for an answer as though grace were something I needed to figure out.

A practice to perfect.

A place to somehow reach.

But perhaps grace is much simpler than that.

Perhaps it is something I can choose to offer myself.

Not because everything is finished.

Not because I have done enough to earn rest.

Not because every responsibility has been taken care of.

But because I deserve the same compassion I offer to every person who walks through the doors of Elysian.

Sometimes that means continuing.

Sometimes it means slowing down.

Sometimes it means recognizing that I am tired.

And sometimes it means simply allowing myself to pause.

Pause.

Offering myself grace is not stepping away from the work I love.

It is part of the work.

I am learning that I do not have to become better at being human before I am worthy of my own tenderness.

Maybe grace is not something I need to find at all.

Maybe it is something I can choose to offer myself, again and again, each time I remember that I am worthy of my own gentleness, too.

Thank you for sharing these few quiet moments with me today.

Until next time…

take gentle care of yourself. 🤍

🤍👆🏼 For my friends who like to swipe.

🤍👇🏼 For my friends who prefer to read.

✨Presence Over Performance ✨

Stillness is not the absence of action.

It is the presence of attention.

Somehow, even healing can become another thing to accomplish.

Am I feeling enough?

Am I releasing enough?

Am I doing this right?

And there it is.

Performance found its way into the room.

Presence does not ask you to produce anything.

It does not require tears.

It does not require revelation.

It does not require transformation.

Sometimes there is movement.

Sometimes there are tears.

Sometimes there is laughter.

And sometimes?

There is simply breath.

One experience is not more sacred than another.

Your experience does not have to perform for you to be worthy of having it.

Presence is not always peaceful.

Sometimes presence is recognizing that you do not want to go deeper today.

Sometimes it is discovering a boundary.

Sometimes it is stopping.

Presence is not about creating the right experience.

It is about noticing the experience that is actually happening.

We can spend so much time becoming that we forget we are also allowed to simply be. 🤍

Presence over performance.

Not as another rule.

Not as something else to perfect.

Just as an invitation to notice when the performance becomes heavy.

And maybe, when it feels right, to put it down.

There is nothing you need to make happen here.

Nothing you need to prove.

Nothing you need to become before you are worthy of your own attention.

You are already here.

And perhaps, for this moment, that can simply be enough. 🤍

Thank you for being here with me today. 🤍

🤍💜🩷 Hello, and welcome. 🤍💜🩷

Whether you’ve been here from the beginning or you’ve only recently found Elysian, I thought it might be time to reintroduce myself.

I’m Olivia—the heart behind Elysian Breathwork.

Long before Elysian existed, I was simply someone who loved caring for people. That calling has grown into creating spaces where beauty invites you to slow down, safety allows you to soften, and your own wisdom leads the way.

Outside of Breathwork, my heart is filled by the simple things.

❤️ Love is my greatest passion.

👵🏼 I’m a proud Granny to wonderful grandchildren who fill my life with laughter, joy and love ❤️

🤍 I’m grateful to be the mom of two amazing humans and the wife of the most patient, supportive man.

🫂 I treasure meaningful relationships and genuinely enjoy meeting people from all walks of life.

🌿 I love caring for plants and creating peaceful spaces that help people feel at ease.

🌅 Sunrises, sunsets, moonrises, birdsong, and quiet mornings remind me to slow down and simply notice.

🍵 One of my favorite ways to spend time is sitting outside with a cup of tea, a notebook, and a little space to dream.

🏋🏻‍♀️ Weightlifting is one of my favorite ways to care for both my body and nervous system.

🐈‍⬛ My rescue cats, Lillee and Lewis, have taught me so much about patience, gentleness, and trust.

🎧 Music is woven into almost every part of my life and continues to be one of my favorite forms of medicine.

🧘🏻‍♀️ Walking meditation helps me return to the present moment.

💎 I have a soft spot for crystals, hearts, and beautiful little details that make a space feel warm and welcoming.

📍 I’m grateful to call Gilbert, Arizona home.

😄 And one completely lighthearted fact… I collect Squishmallows. They remind me not to take life too seriously and help me stay connected to my inner child.

Thank you for being here.

Whether you’re here because you’re curious about Breathwork, seeking a little more peace, or simply enjoy slowing down for a few moments, I’m truly grateful our paths have crossed. 🤍 Welcome to Elysian

The Courage to Be Seen

A longer reflection lives here today. 🤍

If you have a few quiet minutes, I hope you will stay for the whole thing. I think it is worth the read.

And if today only has room for a few swipes, the slides hold the heart of it beautifully, too.

It has been one week since we gathered in Elysian’s Sanctum on Lions Gate.

And somehow, the gratitude has not faded.

It has settled.

Gently. Beautifully. Deeply.

I have thought many times about what I wanted to say about that afternoon. I could thank every beautiful human who walked through these doors. I could talk about the trust it takes to lie down, close your eyes, breathe, soften, and allow someone to witness even a small part of your experience.

I could talk about Capturing the Heart of Elysian—the photo shoot that brought us together that afternoon—and the beautiful humans who helped capture, in photographs, a glimpse of what I have always felt inside these walls.

And I will forever be grateful for every single one of them.

But a week later, I think I understand something else that happened that day.

I was being witnessed, too.

There is a human behind Elysian.

A human who has been afraid of public speaking.

A human who has been afraid of being seen.

A human who still gets uncomfortable putting her face on a screen, turning on a camera, speaking her heart out loud, and allowing other people to witness it.

And I keep doing it anyway.

Not because I have overcome every fear.

Not because I have arrived somewhere on the other side of all of this.

But because everything I speak about here, I live.

Sometimes I may be living it in the very moment I am speaking about it.

I am not standing somewhere ahead of humanity telling anyone how to heal.

I am right here alongside it.

Learning.
Softening.
Challenging myself.
Being uncomfortable.
Finding courage.
Being held.
Loving.
Growing.
And becoming more deeply myself.
🤍✨🦁

That is part of what Lions Gate gave me this year.

Not an acceleration.

An expansion.

An expansion of a heart that was already beating.

An expansion of courage.

An expansion of compassion.

An expansion of my willingness to be seen.

An expansion of the love and affection I have for humanity, right alongside the love and compassion I continue learning to offer myself.

And holy s**t, have the ripples been beautiful.

Since that afternoon, the voice of Elysian has found new places to live.

I have sat in front of a camera and spoken words from From the Sanctum out loud.

I have watched those words leave this little room and find humans I will probably never meet.

And every time someone presses play, there is something incredibly vulnerable and beautiful about knowing:

They see me.

Not a perfectly polished version.

Not someone who has figured everything out.

Another human.

And maybe, somewhere in witnessing another human be human, we remember that we are not alone.

That may be one of the greatest gifts of being seen.

The love I felt inside this room last Saturday did not stay inside this room.

It rippled.

Through photographs.
Through voices.
Through words.
Through videos.
Through conversations.
Through humans.

And through me.

To every human who trusted me that afternoon:

Thank you for seeing me.

Thank you for allowing me to see you.

Thank you for trusting Elysian with something as sacred as your breath, your body, your vulnerability, and your humanity.

And to every human who helped hold me while I stepped a little further into being seen:

Thank you.

I feel your love.

I carry it with me.

And I hope, in every way I know how, I mirror that love right back into the world.

Lions Gate did not make Elysian something new.

It feels more like the gates opened…

and she fu***ng roared.

And because she is still very much mine—

me-fu***ng-ow. 🦁🐈‍⬛✨

Wherever this finds you today, may you know that you are worthy of being seen—exactly as you are. 🤍

💟✨ The Experience You Have Does Not Have to Look Like Anyone Else’s ✨💟

Perhaps you have watched someone else move through Breathwork and wondered what your own experience is supposed to look like.

Maybe you have heard stories of tears, laughter, memories, sensations, clarity, or profound moments of release.

And perhaps a quiet question has followed...

What if that does not happen for me?

There is something I want you to know.

There is no perfect Breathwork experience.

You do not need to cry.

You do not need to have a revelation.

You do not need to feel something profound.

And you certainly do not need to measure what happens within you against what happens for someone beside you.

Every nervous system has its own language.

Every heart has its own rhythm.

Some experiences may feel expansive.

Some may feel emotional.

Some may feel quiet.

And sometimes, you may simply breathe.

None is more meaningful than another.

At Elysian, there is nothing you need to achieve with your breath.

Nothing you need to prove.

Nothing you need to perform.

Your experience does not have to look like anyone else’s.

It only has to be yours.

Wherever this finds you today, may you give yourself permission to experience this moment exactly as it is.

With love,

Olivia

🤍🩷💜 A little something new is blooming at Elysian. 🤍🩷💜

For some time, I have been sharing reflections from the heart through From the Sanctum.

Words meant to offer a little space to pause, breathe, reflect, and perhaps feel a little less alone in whatever it means to be human that day.

And recently, I found myself wondering…

What if you could hear them, too?

Not everyone wants to read an email or sit with words on a page.

Sometimes we simply want to hear another human voice.

So today, I am sharing the very first spoken reflection from From the Sanctum.

No elaborate production.

No perfect delivery.

Just me, sitting inside Elysian’s Sanctum, sharing the same words I wrote from my heart.

These reflections will now have a home on Elysian’s YouTube as well, through a new collection:

From the Sanctum | Spoken Reflections

If listening feels more supportive to you than reading, you can find them there whenever one finds you at the right time. The link to Elysian’s YouTube is in my bio. 🤍

This first one felt like the perfect place to begin.

You Do Not Have to Be Broken.

Wherever this finds you today, I hope you know that you are welcome here exactly as you are. 🤍
