We've completely revamped our website to direct you to the most commonly used links for Downtown Pediatrics. Now you can easily find links to call or text the clinic, call the billing team, complete your pre-visit questionnaires, pay online, or register as a new patient at ✨www.DowntownPediatric.com ✨

We've also added brief explanations of some of our visit types, including same day sick, wellness, or complex visits.

Stay tuned! Our plan is to continue to update the site with information that helps guide you from the moment you choose us as your pediatric home all the way through paying your bill.

Meet our doc! Hollie Stewart, MD

Dr. Stewart was born and raised in North Alabama. She obtained her medical degree from the University of South Alabama in2009, and completed her pediatric residency at LSU Health Science Center in New Orleans in 2012. She is board certified in pediatrics.

In 2022, Dr. Stewart opened her physician-owned practice, Downtown Pediatrics.
She truly thrives in a small private practice and enjoys building lasting relationships with families while providing excellent pediatric care. She sees patients from birth to college age. Outside of work, she spends time with her family and enjoys reading, live music, nature, and Lego sets.

We are ALWAYS accepting newborns :)

-Downtown Pediatrics takes pride in developing strong relationships with our patient families from the start, and we are always accepting newborns (and their siblings)!
-We are a physician-owned clinic in Gillette, Wyoming with a single pediatric physician, Dr. Hollie Stewart.
-We offer immunizations counseling and administration, but do not require them.
-We work with many insurances and have self-pay options on the horizon.

Happy Thanksgiving! Friendly reminder, this week we are open Mon-Wed. We close for Thanksgiving on Thursday and return on Monday, December 1st at 8:00am.

As always, please make any refill requests through your pharmacy and allow up to 72 hours for them to be addressed.

Flu illness is more dangerous than the common cold for children. Each year, millions of children get sick with seasonal flu; thousands of children are hospitalized, and some children die from flu. Children commonly need medical care because of flu, especially children younger than 5 years old.

Complications from flu among children in this age group can include:
Pneumonia: an illness where the lungs get infected and inflamed
Dehydration: when a child's body loses too much water and salts, often because fluid losses are greater than from fluid intake)
Worsening of long-term medical problems like heart disease or asthma
Brain dysfunction such as encephalopathy
Sinus problems and ear infections
In rare cases, flu complications can lead to death.

We have flu shots for 6 months old and up. We offer them to patients and their family members. Call or text 307.217.6011 to schedule.
