Taking care of yourself and supporting your community do not have to be separate things.

Flow with Purpose was created for the people who want to take care of themselves while also being part of something that gives back. For anyone who has been craving a reason to get outside, slow down, and reconnect with themselves in a space that feels welcoming and low-pressure.

This is not a yoga class where you need to know all the poses, show up with the “right” outfit, or be the most flexible person in the park. It is a community gathering centered around gentle movement, breath, connection, and doing something meaningful together.

We are also using this event as a way to support Northlands Rescue Mission and the work they do in our community. With each ticket purchase, attendees are asked to bring two canned good items, and you are welcome to bring more if you are able. A portion of the proceeds will also be donated back to Northlands Rescue Mission.

So, bring your mat or towel, your canned goods, and a friend who would love an afternoon like this and join us Sunday, June 14th at 4:00p.m. for our first gathering at Sertoma Park!

Share this with someone you think would love this event and visit the link in our bio to purchase your ticket.

Something new is coming to Verity!

We’re excited to introduce Founder Fridays, a new conversation series centered around wellness, nervous system regulation, healing, and being human.

These conversations were created for the people who have been holding it all together for too long. The ones navigating stress, burnout, anxiety, overwhelm, disconnection, or simply trying to better understand themselves and their bodies.

Through honest, approachable conversations, we hope to create more connection, more understanding, and a stronger wellness community right here in our Greater Grand Forks region.

This isn’t scripted, there’s no performance and no perfectly polished answers. Just real conversations, honest reflections, and the kinds of discussions we believe more people are craving.

This is more than a series about Somatic Experiencing® or therapy, it’s a space to explore coming back to the body in a way that feels real, grounded, and human.

We can’t wait to share these conversations with you.

Follow along so you won't miss our first episode!

Somewhere along the self-love journey, you realize the little things aren’t so little.

The walk. The candle. The book. The quiet moment outside.

An idea our co-founder, Camille Redmann, comes back to often:

The work is not to apply something to a person.

It’s to create a relationship and environment safe enough for the nervous system to begin doing what it was designed to do.

That kind of safety can’t be rushed.
It can’t be forced.
It has to be felt.

It’s built through consistency.
Through trust.
Through choice.
Through pace.
Through an environment that communicates, “You don’t have to protect yourself in the same way here.”

When those conditions are present, the nervous system can begin to move toward regulation, connection, and repair.

Not because someone was fixed.

Because the conditions finally supported what was already possible within them.

Being a mom is beautiful, but it can also be really overwhelming sometimes.

This is your reminder that you don’t have to do everything perfectly or carry everything on your own. You’re allowed to slow down, rest, and take care of yourself too.

We see you. Your nervous system was never meant to stay in survival mode all the time.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there doing the best they can 💗

Most people don’t realize they’re living in a stressed or shut-down nervous system.

They just think:
“I’m anxious.”
“I’m exhausted.”
“I can’t focus.”
“I feel off.”

So they try to fix the symptoms with more sleep, more discipline, more coping strategies.

But when your nervous system is overloaded, pushing harder usually backfires.

Your body is not asking for more effort.
It is asking for safety.

When you start to understand your patterns, things begin to make sense. And once things make sense, they can actually change.

Follow along to learn how to support your nervous system in a way that actually works.

If you’ve done the work and still feel stuck, it doesn’t mean you’re doing something wrong.

You might understand your patterns.
You might have the tools.
You might know exactly what’s happening.

And still, your body reacts.

That’s because some responses don’t shift through thinking alone.
They live in the nervous system.

Somatic Experiencing® supports the body in processing and resolving those patterns, at a pace that feels manageable and safe.

If this resonates, you’re not alone.

Our first Somatic Skills Group has come to a close, and we’re feeling incredibly grateful for what we were able to cultivate in our space.

Over the past 6 weeks, we slowed down and practiced somatic skills that most people have never been taught. We learned to notice what the body is communicating, and build practical skills for regulation, boundaries, and nervous system support in everyday life.

What stood out most wasn’t perfection or “getting it right,” but the small moments of awareness, honesty, and connection that started to grow over time. Taking the time to learn how to work with the body instead of against. It can be quiet and uncomfortable work, but it is also very powerful.

We are incredibly thankful to everyone who showed up with openness, curiosity, and willingness to try something different. This group reminded us how much people are craving spaces where they can feel safe, supported, and understood – not “fixed”.

We will be offering another Somatic Skills Group in the future for those who are interested in continuing this work or looking to join for the first time.

If this kind of space resonates with you, we’d love to have you join us! Reach out or follow along to be the first to hear when the next group opens.
