We've spent years investing in workplace performance.

-Leadership coaching.
-Executive development.
-Mental health.
-Flexible work.

But there's one performance driver we're still hesitant to talk about: women's health.

As more women step into leadership roles, many are simultaneously navigating hormonal changes that can affect sleep, cognition, confidence, focus, and overall wellbeing, often without language, resources, or workplace understanding.

This isn't just a healthcare conversation. It's a leadership conversation.

In my latest Chief article, I explore why women's health has become one of leadership's biggest blind spots, why silence comes at a cost, and why the organizations willing to address it will have a competitive advantage in attracting and retaining top talent.

I have worked in healthcare and specifically women's health for many years. One thing I hope we can normalize a little more? Talking about women's PLEASURE with the same openness we talk about every other aspect of health.

Because when something impacts our relationships, confidence, stress levels, sleep, and overall well-being, it deserves more than silence.

National Or**sm Day is a reminder that women's health is bigger than reproductive health alone. Pleasure matters, too. Here's to asking better questions, having more honest conversations, and continuing to move the wellness industry forward.

For too long, we've been told to expect hot flashes and little else. But the perimenopause/menopause transition is so much more complex, and no one should have to piece it together alone.

The good news? These changes are common. They're real. And they deserve conversations rooted in science, not stigma. That's what we are doing over at .

The more we understand what's happening in our bodies, the more empowered we become to advocate for our health, seek solutions, and support one another.

Some conversations stay with you long after the evening ends.

I’m incredibly grateful to Rakia Reynolds for bringing together such an extraordinary group of women, and to Sheila Lirio Marcelo and Alexis McGill Johnson for fostering a dialogue rooted in courage, purpose, and community.

There was something incredibly powerful about being in a room where wisdom was shared so generously, leadership was defined by service, and every conversation challenged us to think bigger—not just about what we’re building, but about who we’re becoming.

I left inspired, energized, and even more committed to leading with purpose and creating spaces where women can thrive together.

Thank you for the conversation, the generosity, and the reminder that our greatest impact is rarely made alone. đź’ś

Some of the most valuable conversations happen when accomplished women come together to ask a different question...not “How do I get there?” but “What do I do with everything I’ve already built?”

I had the opportunity to attend, The New Guard Summit at Miraval Berkshires, a gathering of founders, executives, and leaders focused on wealth, wellbeing, and influence, and how those three intersect in this next chapter of leadership.

What I appreciated most was being surrounded by women who weren’t focused on reaching the next title—they were focused on how to use their experience, access, and influence more intentionally.

Leadership, at this stage, becomes less about personal achievement and more about contribution: how we invest in others, open doors, and help shape what comes next.

Grateful for the conversations, the clarity, and the reminder that the most powerful rooms are the ones where women are actively building what didn’t exist before.

We constantly hear about women’s health in the context of pregnancy and fertility—which is incredibly important. I’ve worked in that space, and the progress that’s been made for women there is something really meaningful to see and be part of.

But what happens after that stage? The majority of a woman’s life is actually spent in perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopause, and yet the conversation often seems to stop at “hot flashes.”

Menopause isn’t a moment. It’s a multi-year physiological transition that can impact brain function, sleep, mood, and energy in very real ways. When symptoms are treated in isolation, or dismissed altogether, care becomes fragmented, and women are left without clear support or answers.

This is where the gap still exists. At Vella, we’re focused on closing that gap with better understanding, better science, and better support for every stage of women’s health. I plan to post more about women's health on my page so make sure to follow me here and follow us over at for more education on women's health during menopause and beyond.

Happy Father’s Day to one of the strongest men I know. ❤️

Dad, this year has reminded me that strength isn’t always measured by how much you can do, but by your willingness to keep going, keep fighting, and keep showing up with grace and determination. Watching you embrace this new chapter, regain your health, and build such a special bond with Ella has been one of the greatest blessings for our family.

Thank you for your love, your wisdom, your sacrifices, and the countless ways you’ve cared for us throughout the years. I am so grateful that Ella gets to experience the same steady love and support that shaped so much of who I am.

We love you beyond words and are so thankful God has given us more time, more memories, and more reasons to celebrate you.

Happy Father’s Day, Dad. You are deeply loved, greatly appreciated, and an incredible example of faith, resilience, and family. ❤️
