Yesterday, we chose to listen.

We waited to speak, making space for the voices of those who so bravely and eloquently shared their stories—the devastation, the fear, the loss, the memories, and the healing that is slowly unfolding alongside the rebuilding.

There are no words that can fill what was lost. And there is no timeline for what it means to carry that loss. Some things remain tender. Some spaces remain empty. We wanted to honor that space, and the people who needed to be heard. Who we need to hear.

Today, we step forward in the way we have for the past 3 years- not as the answer, but as one small part of the beautiful network of community care that continues to hold Lahaina. Knowing the healing is needed and happening everyday.

We are still here.

Every Saturday, Pacific Birth Collective continues our Farm to Mother food distribution at the Westside YMCA, offering nourishment, connection, and support to whoever may need it that week. Join Us.

We are grateful to the community that continues to invite us in and allow us to be part of this work.

To Lahaina:
We see you.
We honor what has been lost.
We honor what is being rebuilt.
We mourn alongside you, and we hold space for whatever healing looks like—for each person, each family, and the community as a whole.

May we continue, slowly and gently, day by day, to care for one another and heal together.

We are still here. We are still listening. We are still part of the circle. 🤍
