More movement and sensory input through the feet may be exactly what some children need to help their nervous systems feel calm, organized, and regulated.

When kids receive the sensory feedback they’re craving, families may notice:
• Better focus
• Improved sleep
• Less toe walking
• Calmer behavior
• More body awareness

Helpful activities can include barefoot play, jumping, climbing, obstacle courses, scooter boards, and textured surfaces. Small changes can make a big difference.
