Recently, Fondren’s Dr. Anay Patel visited Seoul Now Hospital in Anyang, South Korea!

During their time together, they discussed emerging improvements, including in navigation and x-ray imaging technologies, and strategies for utilization. They also discussed the commonalities they share in both being physician-owned hospitals and how the approach leads to better patient care and better coordination for an overall more favorable patient experience.

Thanks to Seoul Now Hospital for welcoming Dr. Patel! We look forward to strengthening our relationships with our Korean colleagues!

This past week, many of our doctors came together to host the annual Texas Orthopedic Hospital Adult Reconstruction Symposium in Houston, where colleagues from the orthopedic community gathered to discuss the evolving landscape of hip and knee arthroplasty.

Alongside our Fondren Orthopedic Group doctors, Dr. Lowry Barnes, Chancellor of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) and Bobby Hillert, Executive Director of the Texas Orthopaedic Association were outstanding additions to the symposium lineup. We thank all those who attended and participated!

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Eugene Stautberg III to Fondren Orthopedic Group!

Dr. Stautberg is a member of the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS), where he sits on the ‘Practice Management Committee’ and the ‘Young Physicians Committee’. He has multiple recently published articles in the AOFAS newsletter, ‘InStride’, focusing on appropriate medical coding.

Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Stautberg spends his free time with his wife and three young children. He enjoys travel, Houston sports teams, and golf. Welcome to Fondren Orthopedic Group, Dr. Stautberg!
