Big news for rural health in West Virginia! ๐Ÿ’š

Marshall Health Network is proud to be among the first Rural Health Transformation Program award recipients announced by Governor Patrick Morrisey today.

Through the RHTP, West Virginia is investing in new approaches to strengthen access to care, improve health outcomes and build healthier communities across the Mountain State.

Marshall Health Networkโ€™s Worksite Clinic Expansion Initiative is an innovative workforce health model designed to improve health outcomes, reduce barriers to employment and strengthen labor force participation by bringing care closer to where people work.

Weโ€™re grateful for the opportunity to be part of this important work and look forward to turning this investment into meaningful impact for the people and communities we serve.

Six members of the Marshall ALS Clinic team recently traveled to Orlando for ALS Nexus, connecting with ALS experts from across the country to learn about the latest advances, research and best practices in multidisciplinary ALS care. ๐Ÿง ๐Ÿ’š

The conference was especially meaningful as patient Deb Winters participated in a plenary panel and shared her experience with the Marshall ALS Clinic. A member of our team was also invited to present during the conference, contributing to the exchange of knowledge among professionals dedicated to improving ALS care.

As West Virginiaโ€™s only ALS Association Recognized Treatment Center, the Marshall ALS Clinic is committed to continued education, collaboration and providing comprehensive care for individuals and families affected by ALS.

Weโ€™re proud of our team for continuing to learn, connect and bring valuable knowledge back home to the patients they serve. ๐Ÿ’š
