This , we’re highlighting the comprehensive breast services available at the Diagnostic Breast Center at Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center.

From screening and diagnosis to treatment, recovery and support, our team is here to provide compassionate, coordinated care for each patient. Services include 3D mammography, breast ultrasound, stereotactic and ultrasound-guided biopsies, surgical evaluation, genetic testing evaluations, certified oncology nurse support and patient education.

Patients can also find support beyond treatment through resources like Sisters of HOPE, a free support group that brings women with breast cancer together to share experiences, encouragement and understanding.

Marshall Health Network - St. Mary's Medical Center brought breast cancer survivors together for its annual Breast Cancer Survivor Reunion, a special opportunity to celebrate their journeys, share experiences and connect with others who understand the road they've traveled.

Among the highlights were breast cancer survivors Louise Risher and Monica Starcher, who shared their personal stories of courage, resilience and hope.

Marshall University Women's Soccer celebrated strength, resilience and hope during its Herd Strong game, honoring breast cancer survivor Connie Freeman! ⚽💗

Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center cancer survivors Aimee Porter and Debra Jarrell were honored last night during the Marshall University men's soccer game against James Madison University. 💗⚽

We were proud to celebrate these two incredible women, recognize their journeys and share in this special moment honoring their strength and resilience.
With a Thundering Herd victory to top off the evening, there was plenty to celebrate! 🏆
