Just how much is 30 million students? Let’s contextualize it. šŸ¤”

The population of New York City is 8.58 million people. 🤯

School cafeterias feed more than 3x the population of the U.S.’s biggest city EVERY DAY. In fact, schools feed more than the population of the 10 largest American cities COMBINED (26.1 million) on a daily basis.

Now that we’re thinking about scale. Let’s talk buying power. šŸ¤

By shifting to cooking meals from scratch with fresh ingredients, schools across the country can leverage their scale to help the environment. They can implement sustainable purchasing practices, support regional agriculture, and reduce packaging waste.

If you want to help school teams get the training, recipes, and confidence to cook from scratch and harness their buying power for a healthier planet, consider donating today. https://ow.ly/8QJP50ZFTj2
