🎉 BIG NEWS! HELP US CELEBRATE! 🎉

Please put your hands together and give Madyson Handley a HUGE shout-out! 👏💙 She has officially been accepted into a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program! 🎓🩺

Madyson has been part of the Generations family since August 2024, working as a Physical Therapy Technician while also learning the ins and outs of our front office. All of this while attending Marshall University and keeping her grades up! 💪📚

Her hard work, dedication, and commitment to her future have paid off, and we couldn't be more excited and proud of her! We love seeing our team members chase their dreams, and we can't wait to see what this next chapter holds for her.

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Generations Physical Therapy is always proud to support Mountwest’s Physical Therapist Assistant program and its annual Get Physical 5K fundraiser!

Today, staff from our Milton and Winfield clinics joined the fun. Congratulations to Logan Hostuttler, PTA, for placing 3rd overall and Becky Poling, PT, for placing 4th overall! 🏅

A special shout-out to triplets London, Creed, and Parker Bowles for participating in their very first 5K alongside their mom, Dr. Heather Bowles, DPT, OCS! 🎉

Team GPT was proud to participate in this year’s Team Hope Walk in Barboursville, WV, supporting the Huntington’s Disease Society of America!

We were incredibly honored to receive a Donor Award at this year’s event! 🏆 It was a wonderful opportunity to come together and show our support for individuals and families affected by Huntington’s disease.

A very special shoutout to Whitney Workman for her hard work, dedication, and commitment to bringing this community together for such a meaningful cause! 👏

What an incredibly successful event! We are grateful to have been a part of it and look forward to supporting Team Hope for many years to come!

🌟💙 GENERATIONS EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT! 💙🌟

Today, we’re shining the spotlight on someone who has been part of the Generations family for 13 YEARS! 🎉

Meet Julie Woodard, PTA, our Assistant Director of Personnel and Physical Therapist Assistant at our Milton clinic!

Julie has dedicated over a decade to helping patients get back to doing the things they love. One of her favorite parts of her job is the relationships she’s built along the way. After 13 years, many of her patients have become friends, and she’s even had the opportunity to care for multiple generations of the same families! ❤️

Julie also has quite the story outside of Generations! Here are a few fun facts about her:

🏈 She’s a HUGE football fan who loves the Denver Broncos and Marshall University!

🕯️ She previously owned and operated a candle supply company with her dad for 10 years!

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 She’s a proud grandmother of 8 grandchildren!

🎓 She returned to college at 38 while raising two teenagers and earned her PTA degree! Talk about determination!

✈️ She loves traveling, especially to Europe, and hopes to visit Ireland someday!

🍽️ Her favorite meal? Her mom’s meatloaf and macaroni and cheese!

When asked what she loves most about Generations, Julie shared that she enjoys working with her team every day and being part of a family-owned company that puts people before numbers.

Her advice to anyone considering a career in physical therapy?

“Stay creative, don’t become stagnant in your skills, and always greet the patient with a smile.” 💙

Julie, thank you for 13 years of dedication, leadership, and compassion for our patients and staff. We’re incredibly grateful to have you as part of the Generations family!

This special event is held in loving memory of Katie Cobb and raises awareness and support for pediatric cancer. In partnership with the West Virginia Kids Cancer Crusaders, all profits will benefit the care and treatment of children battling cancer. 💛

Our very own Dr. Paige Tarr has tied the knot! 🥂

Dr. Paige and her husband, Brice, were married in a beautiful ceremony before jetting off to explore Italy on their honeymoon! 🇮🇹✈️

We couldn’t be happier for these two as they begin this exciting new chapter together!
