Instruction at EKS Beachside Bodywork stresses proper alignment with anatomical verbal and tactile cues to assist the practitioner in finding deeper and more effective postures safely. Featuring Hugger Mugger yoga mats/props, Gratz Pilates Equipment, aerial silks and yoga hammocks as well as soft Bamboo wood floors, the studio provides the most ideal environment possible for developing an effectiv

e and safe yoga, Pilates and/or aerial arts practice. A wide variety of group classes are also offered for all skill levels. Private sessions on Gratz Pilates equipment, or aerial hammock or aerial silks are also available. Seems odd because my upper body is heavier than my low body (at least it seems so), but both of these skills required me to fight to keep my upper body down instead of letting it rise as seemed to be naturally happening.

For the hand free back balance, I also had to keep my bottom leg higher (it kept reaching for the floor, which was popping my upper body up)….soooo now I just think “horizontal” with the whole body for butterflies and the hands free back balance and it seems to be working!!!🙃🤗🤩

Basic dynamic and static entries to scorpion…if you are falling out of the scorpion, keep the top hand between your glutes and your back body close to the rope…unlocked for me anyway.🙃
