We are closely following the confirmed measles cases in Kern County. If you or your child has had potential exposure to measles or symptoms of a fever and a rash, please call the office before booking an appointment.

The best way to protect your child is staying up to date with measles vaccination, with the first MMR dose given at 12 to 15 months and the second at 4 to 6 years.

With the start of the school year, now is a great time to confirm your child is up to date. MMR vaccination is required for enrollment in California public schools.

We had a wonderful time partnering with the New Mom School for their Bumps & Bagels event last weekend! 👶💙

Thank you to everyone who joined us as Dr. Matt Shapiro and Lien Lam, MMS, PA-C from Coastal Kids - Newport Beach shared practical tips and expert guidance for expecting parents preparing to bring home their newest bundle of joy.

From newborn care basics and feeding advice to what to expect during those first few weeks at home, it was a great opportunity to connect with families and help build confidence for the exciting journey ahead.

A special thank you to New Mom School for hosting such a welcoming and informative event. We loved being part of it and look forward to supporting more growing families in our community!
