Everyone, meet Emily!

We are SO excited to officially introduce our new and amazing Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellow here at Bloom Behavioral Solutions!

Emily has been such a wonderful addition to our Bloom family! From day one, she has brought an infectious positive attitude, enthusiasm, and genuine passion for helping others. Her warmth and energy are felt throughout the clinic, and we are so lucky to have her on our team!

A little more about Emily:

Emily is originally from Gainesville, FL and moved to Jacksonville in the summer of 2026. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree at Florida State University in 2024 and graduated with her Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of South Florida in 2026. As a graduate student, she completed her externship placements at USF Health in their head and neck cancer department, Hillsborough County Public Schools, and Floortime Florida. Her clinical interests include expressive and receptive language, pediatric feeding, and AAC. Outside of work, she enjoys walking on the beach with her dog, Tally, trying new restaurants, going to concerts, and spending time with her friends and family.

And some exciting news... WE HAVE SPEECH THERAPY OPENINGS!

If you've been considering speech therapy for your child, now is a wonderful time to get started! We currently have availability for speech therapy services and would love to welcome some new faces to our Bloom family.

🏀🌼 Daffodil is headed to the Jacksonville Waves!

We are SO excited to announce our next community outing: the Jacksonville Waves Women’s Basketball Championship on Saturday, August 29th at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena!

This isn't just a basketball game - it’s an opportunity for our participants to step outside their comfort zones, practice their social skills, and experience the incredible feeling of being celebrated and welcomed by their community. 💛

Participants will have opportunities to:

- High-five players as they take the court
- Help hold the flag
- Participate in halftime activities
- Meet players and get autographs after the game
- Practice initiating conversations with new communication partners

And the best part? Everyone is invited! Daffodil families, friends, Bloom staff, and community members can join us and help cheer on our participants!

We're so grateful to the Jacksonville Waves for helping create an experience where our participants can be seen, included, and celebrated for exactly who they are. 🌼

🌙✨ Summer Under the Stars: July 6–10 ✨🌙

Get ready for a week of outdoor adventures, imaginative play, and skill-building fun! Our Petits, Micros, and Super Sprouts will spend the week exploring the great outdoors while developing communication, social, motor, and cognitive skills through engaging, hands-on activities 🏕️⭐

🌲 Monday – Hiking Adventures
We'll kick off the week with a woodland scavenger hunt! Campers will practice receptive identification and labeling skills as they search for creatures and nature items hidden throughout our "forest."

🔥 Tuesday – Campfire Adventures
Gather around the campfire for activities focused on gross and fine motor development, language growth, and shared enjoyment. Through songs, games, and collaborative activities, children will build communication and social interaction skills while making memories with friends.

🐻 Wednesday – Going on a Bear Hunt
We're off on a bear hunt! Campers will follow multi-step directions as they journey through different obstacles and adventures. This day will focus on sequencing, listening skills, and gross motor development through movement-based activities.

⭐ Thursday – Star Gazing
As we look up at the stars, campers will practice shape identification, pattern completion, and turn-taking skills through themed games and activities. This day encourages problem-solving, attention, and cooperative play.

🛌🏕️ Friday – Camping Day
Wear your PJs and bring your sleeping bag! Our final day will be a special camping celebration where campers can put all of the skills they've practiced throughout the week into action. From communication and social skills to motor and cognitive challenges, we'll wrap up Summer Under the Stars with a fun-filled day of adventure and learning!

We can't wait to spend the week exploring, learning, and creating friendships under the stars! 🌙✨💛
